Awww...I am a total "daddy's girl"...even at age 40...so I love the daddy stories too...

And weren't we talking about beds a few pages back? We just ordered a new one - King sized Simmons Beautyrest World Class Angelique Super Pillowtop AND we got a 19 inch flat screen with it...special deal at Macys...very exciting since FI has had this bed for almost 20 years sick.gif- it will be nice to have OUR own bed.

And my countdown is actually less than 100 days now! OMG!

FI and I went on our resort website today, since he really has nothing to do with the planning and did a little virtual tour, and looked at the side tours we could do, like zip lining and ATVs....he's never been to any resorts or islands so now he's really starting to get excited, and it's starting to hit both of us that it's happening soon!!!!

Awe, I'm sooo envious of a king size bed...still working on FI for that! lol

After being on vacation and sleeping alone for a month I can't say I'm very upset when he falls asleep on the sofa, lol!!

Hope everyone had a Fabulous Holiday!!

Now is the crunch time, I think I'm in shock...litterally crunch time, I need to start working out again, I'll visit the get fit thread tomorrow!!

My New Year's Resolution: To get this wedding on track and organized so I can actually relax and de-stress so that this damn ulcer will heal!! And to fit into my dress :o)

Was searching for BM's dresses tonight, found a couple online, but still can't make up my mind...

Going to bed now...FI's on the sofa and I think he might fall asleep there too!! lol

The one thing I don't love about the king sized bed is that sometimes I have to roll 3 or 4 times to get to him....and it's COLD here in Jersey! But we were sleeping in a double at his uncle's house on vacation and that was a bit too close for us.

Haha! At the hotel we were staying at over the holidays while skiing we had a room with two double beds. After the first night of being squished between FI and our dog (she's 55lbs and thinks she's 5lbs!) I decided that it wasn't going to happen again so I sent FI over to the other bed! LOL! I was hoping that the dog might sleep on his bed but she wound up on mine which really wasn't a surprise. It's just proof that I will likely never have a bed to myself unless I have to travel without either of them.

Normally at home the dog sleeps in her own bed beside ours so it's not really an issue but I'm pushing for a king sized bed as well. Told FI that if I get pregnant then it's going to be on the top of my list for things to buy. 1) Big bed for me, 2) car seat, 3) baby crib, hahahahahaha!! I'm so selfish!

wowwww.. can't even try to catch up from the 2 weeks i took off from the forum! i'm glad to say i got most of the stuff done that i could before work starts getting HORRIBLE for the next 2 months! my to do list is a little daunting, but there can't be much more at all that i need to put on in it since it includes packing stuff, scheduling dog boarding, all sorts of things like that. don't want to forget those tiny details!

less than 100 dayshuh.gif if i check my official facebook countdown i have... 114! not too shabby! i'll love when it goes to double days though! didn't we start this thread last april or may?? time certainly flies!

meghan, don't feel bad.. my first requirement when i get pregnant is a new house AND bed!!! J has already been informed so there aren't any surprises!

haha well erin I'm one up on you already then. Geoff wants to move out of the house we're in already! Turns out that he was a wonderful person when we bought this one because I LOVED it and he didn't really like it at all! My only request was to stay in one place for three years because i've spent so many years moving before now. We've got more work that we want to do inside, and definitely yard work that will carry us through this summer and by the following year I'll be ready to move too. And scary enough, that timing might possibly coordinate with a baby arrival too! We aren't planning anything at all but since I'm almost two years older than Geoff is, we don't want to wait too many years before getting started!

Good luck with getting back into wedding mode, I know you can do it!! You must have really missed the FI tho!
Maybe you can put some of the dresses up that you can't choose, maybe we all can help you out, make things a little easier for you.
That's exactly what I want to do.. get all the wedding stuff taken care of so I can de-stress and just look forward to going.
How is the ulcer doing? Did you not see a doctor about it?

Work out : Wii fit. Yes I am trying to sell people on this.. because it truly works.. I've been working out with it for 7 days and I feel the results already.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
