Lately, I've been trying to gather ideas for my bouquets, then I stumble upon ideas for my centerpieces, then I move onto the judge's table decorations, then shoes, then invitations, then music, then the first dance - to choreograph or not to choreograph, then cake ideas, then flight arrangements, then TTD dress and location, then groom's attire (SO late with this one)... AHHH!!!!!

My goodness! Sorry, I'm just venting. I feel like I am getting nowhere with this...Planning has taken a toll on me lol.
I totally feel your pain!! This weekend I was realized that time is really flying and I need to get jumping... But just breathe and re-group, we will all make it through and before you know it, HAPPILY MARRIED!!!

What I plan to do this weekend is pull out my lovely wedding planner notebook, that has never been touched and to see if it brings me some serenity and inspires me to get really organized. I need to sit down and prioritize my to-do list so that I give attention to what is highest priority. I think you are a lot better off then you may think, but I can definitely sympathize w/ the overwhelmed feelings.

Just smile and remember that at the end of the day you will have a beautiful wedding day and will spend forever with the love of your life wink.gif

I feel you!!! I think I might have called the wedding off a couple of times this week (Just to the FI) already just from the stress with rsvp's and all of the other stuff that comes with it! But in the end I believe we all will get what's needed done!

Natasha,
Thanks for the support. I am now waiting to see if my e-mail did anything, but I have to wait to so long now (Jan 15)

Erin- Let's plan on an early weekend in November. Do you have any favorite hotspots around downtown/clifton/hyde park/mason? We could grab a drink/nibble then hit up JoAnn Fabrics or Michaels if there are any crafty things you need to get!

I might start buying supplies for my message-in-a-bottle invitations I want to make, my first DIY project!

Natasha~thanks I am so excited!!! I wish she would give us some teasers already!!!

Hey everybody not much on my home front. I feel you guys about being organized...I have been dreaming that I am gonna forget something when it's time to pack..eeek!!

I am thinking of getting Brian a Tungesten band because he is not flashy and doesn't want diamonds or anything in his band..so I am gonna try to get him to look a them tonight so I can get to ordering..since my set came with a band already..although he hid it from me so I can't play with it..lol!

I am thinking of using an Etsy vendor for my bc veil...not sure another girl ordered hers from another site and it was pretty too...

I am getting these earrings...

it all seems to come on at once doesn't it?? every once in a while i've had to take a step back and re-prioritize everything... the good news is that you still have 6 months left which is more than enough time to figure everything out!! you always have us as sounding boards too for any ideas or if you get stressed again!

i have those panic attacks too shan! i think that was one of my first wedding dreams too! my FI got himself a black tungsten band... we heard it was supposed to be the most durable and they are pretty inexpensive! he actually ordered his from overstock.com and got a GREAT price!

i've been looking for my "something old" lately and my mom was cleaning out a closet the other day and found her garter from her wedding. i'm not doing a garter toss or anything, but i think it will be cool to have that of hers!

also, my amazing flower lady sent me pictures of her first stab at my bouquet... what do you think? (personally.. i'm in love!) the stems are going to be wrapped in strips of the fabric taken off my dress when it's shortened.

hi everyone! I am looking into buying turquoise or aqua-ish chair bows and tulle. has anyone had any luck finding a good vendor. I've looked at wedding linens direct, idea ribbon, etc. but want to know if you ladies knew of other vendors. I would like to buy the bows and tulle from the same place so that the colors match.

    • OMG these are incredible! Seriously blown away by the thoughtful detail you have put into every aspect of your gifts, your guests are going to be amazed! Props to you for adding so many personal touches and putting in so much time to make these gifts amazing!
    • These bags are amazing!! You are so organized and detailed, I am so impressed! I LOVE the Vistaprint stuff you ordered, the logo is so cute, I love your personalization!
    • I love etsy!! It's a great place to find personalized gifts without such a hefty price tag. I was thinking of getting my bridesmaids personalized necklaces with their names on them. I found these ones that are affordable and you can pick the chain length and different fonts, so you can really make them your own and pick what you know each bridesmaid will want. https://www.etsy.com/listing/595334072/personalized-name-necklace-stainless?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=personalized necklace&ref=sc_gallery-3-9&plkey=a8662525c53ec285c1b46b0f308162d0591edff8:595334072
    • Hi everyone, I am so happy that I am getting married to the love of my life. He proposed me and we are getting married within in a couple of months. And I have started preparations for my big day. I am super excited about a lot of things and also worried about many things.I have some inhibitions about my face and skin. Since I am a working woman, I have never got much time for personal care. This is the right time for it now. I need  proper medical grade skin care. Want to improve my skin tone and texture  I read some details about it here, https://www.mcleanclinic.com/nonsurgical-procedures/non-surgical/skin-care/, and found it really helpful. Can anyone of you suggest me some more tips? Like what I can do at home to have a glow on my face?  Thanks in advance.
    • I think you should approach the dentist. That would be the best idea as of now.
