Sorry, I just couldn't let this thread go onto page 2! Sooooo quite lately, it's almost erie...

Hope everyone had a good AHR. We had an absolute blast at ours! Everything turned out very well, and the brewery was fantastic :) Everyone complimented us on how laid back and enjoyable the whole night was. YAY! DH is kinda glad that the whole wedding thing is officially over. He's tired of all the planning, arranging, and dealing with people. I'm kinda glad it's over to. Now we can get back to normal and focus on other and more important things.

Hope everyone is still alive and having fun!

So funny, cause I was going to come on and say the same thing after dinner!!!

I'm so glad you guys had a blast and got some great compliments, always feel good when you hear a few, makes it all seem worth while.

Any pics?!?!?!

So did you wear your dress?!

My mom finally finally convince me to have AHR, but we'll have it in Cornwall (where all My family is) then we'll have to go to Halifax and have an unofficial AHR for his family where I wont wear my dress, it'll be like a family get together more so (no one is willing to travel, and we can't say no to 1 party and not another)

So, planning here I come again. But it'll be real simple with a midnight snack.

Want to hear about everyone else AHR, give me some ideas!!!!

OMG congrats to everyone, I'm so happy for you all :)

I know it's been awhile and let me tell you the horror story I went through with Andrew. But to make it short, some of you know we broke up in January, just 3 months before our wedding. Things weren't right at the time BUT we reconciled and ELOPED in Las Vegas. I know, so cliche but the situation was just right. I had already switched my plane tix from Cancun to las vegas and Andrew came last minute and everything was just so perfect.

I'm still not out of the water yet with the whole wedding planning. My parents a throwing me a vow renewal/ wedding reception in August to honor our families, that's so nice of them. And hubby and I still haven't had our official honeymoon yet lol (we're thinking Bora Bora). Everything is so backwards but I don't care... I married my bestfriend wink.gif

So congrats once again to all. I have to catch up to all I have missed these past few months.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
