I am totally stressing about what to do for my accessories, namely the bra and LACK OF PRESENCE! The back of my dress is really open so I won't be able to wear anything that wraps around my body, so I may be left resorting to the stick-on kind! While many would just suggesting I go 'au naturel' I'm just not sure if that's for me! (and Tracy, pardon my very poor french reference there LOL!).

That and I still haven't picked out any jewelery which I find hard to do with such a vague idea of what my dress looks like on me and what it would match best with! I really hate my pictures of when I first tried on my dress so they really don't help me much! Aaaaaaannd, I haven't even decided if I want to wear a veil (although FI has already requested I not wear any of the styles that cover my face or are the birdcage style!!!).

I guess I'm just thankful that I still have a good three months to figure it out since my dress isn't expected in until February!! Eeeek!

Welcome! Don't be nervous- you still have lots of time! I'd work on the dress, invites and the website (if you're doing one) and the rest will all work out easily, no worries. The big thing for me was picking the date and resort, everything else just comes together once you've done that. Have fun and don't stress. smile03.gif

I will also have to resort to the stick on kind lol. The bust area is pretty much the only thing my mom has to sew in for me along with the length of my dress. It's so sad when you have nothing of chest and try to wear something gorgeous with it... lol but I think I'll deal.

Hello and welcome! Don't worry this site will help you with pretty much everything you have questions about. Have you bought a dress yet? What about STD/ invitations? You should def. let your guests be aware of your wedding plans. Good luck!

Haven't got the dress yet but have sent out STD and started the website. We have 15 booked so far. The hardest most stressfull part was picking the resort. Hoping that more people book soon

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
