B & I were gonna sleep in separate rooms the night before..should we still because I don't want him to see me until the wedding time.

will we look stupid going by ourselves?
I saw a thread yesterday with photos of a wedding where there was only the bride, groom, their child, and the brideâ€s parents (I think). This is the link to the thread http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...g-photo-50655/. She had a link to her wedding photos in her post. Some of the photos showed her husband-to-be helping her get ready. Iâ€m not sure if that is something you would consider.

I know I want to do the tradition of not sleeping together the night before the wedding, but I donâ€t know if we can avoid seeing each other the day of the wedding before the ceremony. Since we will be doing a cruise wedding, it will be difficult to avoid seeing each other in the port. But, I definitely donâ€t want my FI to see me in my full wedding attire until I am walking down the aisle.

If I were you, I would move your ceremony up earlier in the day if it is just the two of you. That gives you more time to spend together after the ceremony. Just think of all the anticipation you will be feeling while waiting for 5:30 to roll around.

I think we're going to spend the night together the night before the wedding. I like the tradition of sleeping separately but we've been living together for so long now that neither of us sleep that well without the other and I want us to get lots of rest for the big day. I really don't want him to see me in my dress or anything until I get down the aisle, though! He hasn't seen my dress, either, not even a pic so it'll be a nice surprise.

Yay Congrats!! I really didn't do my research because I didn't do a preliminary rsvp and I put Feb 2010! I have received a few though...and a lot of people have booked already so I know some will be coming! lol

LOVE the pic of you with the Alligator - brave woman! I'd love to hold one!

I am sooooooo kicking his butt out of our room the night before nuptials! and mostly not because of tradition, although I'm looking forward to the anticipation of not seeing him until the ceremony...because we ALWAYS see eachother lol
It's mostly because I can't bloody wait to have a King Size bed all to myself!! My FI's a crowder, roller, sleep talking hugger and I'm a need space and need to be able to breath sleeper - So the night before my wedding may just be the best nights sleep I'll ever get for the rest of my life, lol!! Oh yeah - getting rid of the kid for the night too, gotta love Grandparents!! lol
OH I can't wait for a little slice of HEAVEN!!!

I sleep so much better when the FI is with me too, but I want to attempt to do the traditional thing. We'll see if I stick to it!

A king size bed! Wish I had one of those. I'm still rockin' the queen size bed. We'll have to upgrade after the wedding.

Well, gotta go to bed now. I think I've gotten enough wedding thoughts out of my mind for now so I can get some sleep (in my queen size bed).

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
