thanks tracy! this way we can tell right away who's getting married on which day AND i'm glad we're doing this so we can have it when april comes around.. it'll make it easier to remember who's getting married which day. that way the people like me who have to wait until the end of the month can be sufficiently jealous of everyone!

Well Hello Ladies, I've been out of it for a while so I have some catching up to do!!

Thanksgiving weekend really did me in! I'm sick as a dog...one good thing about being sick is I only had one small helping of Turkey dinner - and couldn't taste a damn thing! :o(

Trying to get back on my feet and back into the swing of things...including the elliptical but I'll have to slowly work back up to that.

Right now time for a nap with the baby so I'll chat to you all soon, can't wait to catch up on all the happenings I missed this weekend!

Erin - you are wonderfully OCD, I love it! The Re-done list is great! and I love the link to the "something blue" I so want to do that, cute idea - but I'm wearing wedge flip flops so I'll have to figure out where the stickers will go! Maybe on the sides?

So far I've only caught up on the last couple posts!! lol Time for bed!

so horrible that you got sick for thanksgiving weekend and didn't get to enjoy all the yummy food!! hopefully you're feeling better now!

i am wearing sandals (just flats) for my shoes as well and for my something blue i'm getting a blue permanent marker and having my BMs, MOH and my mom write on the bottom of my shoes. i love the sticker idea, but i don't want to be off balance! just an idea if your shoes are similar and you need your something blue!

Erin - I love that you're so organized... I used to be that way, w/ lists for everything. Lately I have allowed myself to get outta control, and I just hate it!! Time to get back to my slightly OCD self again :)

 

Thanks for the tip on processional music... I think I will follow your lead and just use the one song, that way I don't have to worry about cueing the music and making songs flow together.

Shan- Glad your shoot went well! I know nothing about the "I Do" rhinestones, sorry can't help you there.

 

Christina- I think will have two songs for the processional too, so it's not unheard of.

 

Erin- I'm also having my MOH, BM and Mom sign my wedding shoes too! I saw it somewhere and thought it was an awesome and memorable idea.

 

Kimmy & Tracy- I'm also getting married on a Friday and my reason behind that was the 17th was booked LOL.

I just added in that we're at the Dreams resort, since there are a few in Puerto aventuras.

erin - that's a cool idea for your something blue!! I don't think I'd heard of it before actually. I'm ordering shoes for the whole wedding party - brown leather flip-flops for the gm, black leather for FI, narrow strap specially dyed flip flops for the bm's (purple) and ribbon strapped flip flops specially dyed BLUE for me!!
FI and I have an inside joke that the first time he actually said he loved me it sounded so casual as if he were just telling me he had a pair of blue shoes. So now instead of saying "I love you" to each other, especially in public/group/work scenarios, we just say "blue shoes" so needless to say the idea was EASY for me!!

I'm ordering all the flip-flops from one main site, but included the separate links so that you can just go right to them!

I love the idea of getting people to sign your shoes! I may have to shamelessly steal it from you. I've got my eye on some really pretty high heeled peep toe sandals (we're having the ceremony in the gazebo) but I've been thinking about changing into something more comfortable like flip-flops afterwards. I'm just nervous about tripping over my dress if it's too long.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
