Welcome home! I'm glad to hear that you had a good time :)

We actually floated the Comal and rented a Condo a few years ago, so we were thinking about doing it again, just on a much bigger scale. That's too funny! You'll have to let me know how your party barge goes friday.gif

Wow, Erin, your pictures are so beautiful! I love your dress and your flowers were gorgeous. What a gorgeous wedding you had- you looked so pretty! Wow! I thought about you on the 28th, too, and Suzy on the next day. I was wondering how it went for you, I'm glad to see you had great weather, too.

I agree- I'd love to see some pictures of everyone's AHR. We're having a little one at my parents place this Friday- very casual. I'll try to put some pictures of it up- but I guess I need to worry about wedding pictures first. I keep checking my photographer's blog for teasers, they should be up this week (fingers crossed). I need to post some non pro pics later today.

Erin,

Wow wow wow!!! I love the pictures. Jay's daughter is gorgeous!!!!!!! so adorable!!!

I can't wait to see more... the photographer did one hell of a great job.. no wonder why it's taking so long to get them lol.

You were smart to have your own camera on hand.. I should have done the same, but I guess it wouldn't have matter since I lost my camera on our honeymoon week.

I think we are all back now.

CONGRATS TO US ALL MARRIED WOMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it's over.. besides everyone who is having an AHR. Can't wait to hear how yours goes on Friday Mel and everyone elses (when is everyone else having theirs?)

I finally made my decision about having one, and we decided NOT to go for it!! sorry for the people who couldn't see me in my dress, they'll all be disappointed but they can see pictures!!

YAY my wedding photo's are in!

But I can't have them!!!!! The FedEx lady just called me to say that she's at my house to deliver a package, of which I had no clue was coming and had to ask what it was, and was wondering if someone was there to sign for it. I told her no, me and hubby are working as most people are between 8 am and 5 pm. She says that my dog is sitting out front on the sidewalk and he had barked at her... okay, so he probably is. Our fence is in dire need of replacement and it's on the to-do list, but it's not numero uno. I say well he's not a mean dog and you have my permission to leave the box on the porch. She says no way, she says that my dog may be a nice dog but she's not going to get out of the truck to find out, and that he's apparently deranged. I'm sorry? Then she says that she's not even going to get out of the truck to leave one of those notes that says that they were there for delivery and that you can sign for them to leave the package by the door the following day. My dog is apparently deranged. I'm sorryhuh.gif? You're telling me that you're a FedEx delivery driver and you've never seen a barking dog before? She's on the phone with me and I don't even hear a dog barking. huh.gif Then she says that I can hand write a note giving permission to have the box left at the door tomorrow. Whathuh.gif? According to her my dog is DERANGED and a threat to society. If she couldn't get out of the truck today how the heck is she going to do it tomorrowhuh.gif? I'm sorry, my dog is a 7 year old lab/golden retriever mix. He's old. He's fat. He's not going to far to fast. The school kids like to pat him as they walk by to and from school. He may have barked at her, and I certainly understand her concern for her personal well being. He is a strange, random dog sitting out front of the house. But deranged? Was he chewing on your truck tires? Was his hair standing on edge? Was he frothing at the mouth with a crazy look in his eye? No. He just barked a her. I'll make sure to put a notice out to all the neighborhood children to not ride him like a pony b/c he's to dangerous. What the F?!

Sucks...but picture yourself in her position... how many of her coworkers that have probably had bad run-ins with dogs that did look seemingly okay!? Does Fed-Ex have somewhere you can pick up your package? It might be a faster way to get your photos!! Best of luck !!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
