HAPPY WEDDING DAY MEGHAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

i am ALL about the special treatment at the airport.. this is my one chance to do it so i might as well make it worth it, right?!

 

jules, it sounds like you guys had an amazing time! so glad to hear that everything was perfect and you were able to mend the bridesmaid issue before you left!

 

kimmy, your pictures look outrageously beautiful! the fact that your forecast said there was supposed to be rain and it looked like THAT while you were there makes me feel about 100% better! did you fly out of CVG? good to know that they didn't care about the dress bag too!

 

jodi, is all of this volcano mess going to make it hard for you guys to depart? i hope it doesn't delay you at all!!

 

so now that there are so few of us left i am getting even more anxious! my MOH and i have been playing a game where we try to find anything that we can say we've done for the last time before we leave. for example... today is my last friday of work before we leave! anything to pass the time!! i'm so glad for mel and suzy bringing up the end of april strong with me! :)

Sorry I haven't posted for a while... I can't believe how much last minute stuff there is to do. We leave on Thursday 4/22. I haven't even started packing yet!

 

Congrats to all of the ladies who have gotten married so far. This month is going by so fast. I can't wait to catch up on all of the reviews and pictures when I get back. I'm going to attempt to post a wedding planning thread before I leave, if I can find the time. Take care ladies and everyone travel safely!

Erin- Starfish is in the mail, on his way to YOU! We flew out of CVG, hopefully you have a great experience as well.

 

I have a few friends who posted albums on my FB page. The pics look amazing and I can't wait to see the rest (especially the pro pics!). Friend me! PM me for personal info (name/email) i'm weird about posting it all online since BDW shows up in google searches so easily wink.gif

Yep- we'll be representing the end of April for another week! I love your countdown system- I'm getting really impatient too but we've been travelling around so much that it's been keeping me busy. I saw my brother for the first time in over a year the other night, we stayed for a few days with FI's best man and now we're over at FMIL's for a few days (it's FI's birthday today!). Busy, busy, busy!

FI found his suit, no problem- it's just being tailored right now. I really didn't want to interfer too much with it, I wanted him to pick out something that he liked and that he was comfortable in and I guess staying out of it paid off because he picked out exactly what I would have picked for him. I'm so happy with it- he looks so handsome! I had my (first and last) dress fitting the other day, too (there's no tailor where we live) and thankfully almost nothing needs to be done to it- just a tiny bit needs to come in around the top and the waist. That was a big relief- it'll be ready a few days before we leave.

Also- happy (belated) wedding day, Meghan!!! I hope everything went well. Safe travels to everyone who left this week and happy wedding day to anyone I've missed while I've been on the road.

i got J's daughter packed today.. we had a blast doing it actually. she was very much into making piles of different types of clothes. it all got crammed very conveniently into her little princess suitcase! i guess the next step is actually getting J and myself packed! yikes!!

Hi Everyone - i'm back - I missed you - congratulations to everyone - I have to catch up on a ton of stuff but Erin I did see that J's daughter was ordered to attend the wedding - how awesome. i'll be posting some non pro pics ASAP and then reviews - I came home with a horrible cold so not at my best.

Oh Michele!!! WELCOME BACK!!! So sorry you had to come back with a cold though, that always sucks! I'm struggling with one right now, actually the whole house has a cold, it's been a really really crappy week and we leave next Sun!

I can't wait to see all of your pics, Mel is right, by the two you have posted they look like they are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

 

I can't believe everyone is already on their way back to reality!!! It seems to have flown by so so fast!

 

On a side note, I severely burned my arm when I blocked my kid from running into the open oven...it'll make for great wedding pics! It's so absolutely gross, but thank God nothing happened to Martez!

Welcome back Michele! Sounds like you had a wonderful time, and I can't wait to hear all about it :)

 

How many more ladies do we have left this month? Only 2 more weeks to go and we'll all be married! YAY!

 

On another note - I really need to get off my lazy butt and write my reviews! We're remodeling our house and put a lot of stuff on hold for a the couple months prior to our wedding. But now that we're back we've been super super busy on the house. Good news though - I'll have floors in 2 weeks! YAY! I've been sitting on concrete for the past 6 months and it's gotten a little old!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
