This is the way to go, I think, Tracy. You're right about wind and candles not mixing and I'd never even thought about the weight. That is looking good!
Yup, way to go Tracy!

Tracy, I really like the last one with small candles and shell, very caribbeany & beachy, with a nice little touch of color.

Yeah! Have a good day tomorrow! But don't kill him yet... I'm the packer as well, but at least he doesn't go back and check everything out, he just complains when I forgot something (which is not very often, Ah!)

and finally my real touch flowers that I just got in the other day. I'm debating on colouring some of them with a dark purple tint for my bouquet so that they stand out a little more from my dress (and please excuse the horribly messy desk in the background!!)

my new carry on bag that I just bought - it's also bright turquoise which is one of my favourite colours. Enough so that my friends have re-named it "meghan blue" since we all know exactly the colour then!

And last but not least a recent picture of FI and I because it's nearly impossible to get him to smile in pictures!

So yes, I probably should have pulled together a planning thread by this point as well instead of wasting all our space here but I had already started posting before I thought of that! LOL!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
