Nat,

Just love the gift for the family.

The window signs are adorable. Great job!!!

Jenna,

I am so so happy his able to fix it for you, sorry you had to drive so fun but you must feel so relieved, it was probably worth the 2 hours drive (1 hour each way right?!)

Can't wait to see pics.

Oh wow, you can actually see 10 day forecast? I can't do that!! lol

How much do you have left to do?

BTW- Meghan, your so right about the bouquts, but still like all the real touch ones much much better then mine, but oh well.. no one is going to remember the BM bouquets!! I've put way to much thought into I guess. Can't help myself lol.

Jenna, I'm happy that your jeweller will fix the ring for you in time for the wedding! I would have asked for it myself, even if I had to pay money, you will wear this for years to come, if not your whole life!

I can cross out something else from my list, we got our rings tonight, and they are fabulous! I don't have time to take pics tonight, but surely tomorrow or Saturday.

I also had time to shop a bit between work and my appointment, got 2 swimsuits and one for my FH. Hurray! (His was much harder to find, he's so picky on "suitable" colours...) I'll go back tomorrow for some little summer dresses to put on for dinners. Since I lost so much weight last year, my wardrobe is pretty screwed up.

Donâ€t think I ever responded to this... The seamstress has told me that she will have everything done in time. She has done the major stuff; at my first fitting she pinned the dress for the hem, bustle, and alterations at the bust and waist. So, the next fitting, we will check to make sure all of that is good. The modification is minor compared to all of that. I will have a better idea on Monday after the fitting. Iâ€ll try to get my sister to take some pics.

I guess I really do want to marry FI, though, because I was quite upset about marrying someone else lol.
Oh wow. Iâ€ve had some had some strange dreams myself lately. One dream, they couldnâ€t find the right music to play when it was my turn to walk down the aisle. I have a particular song picked out to walk down the aisle to. I was just standing there horrified in the dream.

By the way, are you feeling better? I know you mentioned that you werenâ€t feeling too good recently.

I have finished 1 BM bouquet - I have to tweak it a little bit, but all in all I'm pretty happy with how they turned out and the price can't be beat!! $13 each, not too bad, eh? Oh and my BM's Dresses FINALLY came in!!! and I love them, now just hoping that they all fit or I'll be screwed, lol, not really funny cause it's true - but they match the ribbon perfect too, considering I made the bouquets before the dresses came in! Phew!!!!!!!!!!!
Iâ€m sure youâ€ll catch up soon Suzy. By the way, your bouquet is very pretty.

I used Shutterfly.com to make a photo book of my Family Reunion pictures. This is the site I use to store most of my photos. I use photobucket for sharing photos on this site though. Making the photo book was pretty easy. I just used the option where you drop all of your photos into the file and it automatically arranges the photos on the pages for you. Then, you can go back and tweak the file. I had a 50% off coupon at the time. Iâ€m not sure how their regular prices compare to other sites though. Unfortunately, I donâ€t have a picture of it to share since my Mom has the book at her house.

Glad to hear that everyone's attire to starting to be finalized. I picked up FI pants yesterday and finally found him a shirt that I liked at Target (of all the places). He's a small guy and most smalls are to big on him, plus my dress isn't white or ivory, it's more of creamy milk color. Anyways, it's was really hard to find him a shirt.

Ladies, thank you so much for your encouragement and words about my wedding band. I was just so upset about it, and I was really hoping for tears of joy not sorrowmsncry.gif. I drove all the way back to Dallas today to drop it back off at the jeweler. He is going to fix it for me before we leave! YAY! And just to clarify, it's all my fault that's that I didn't like it. I approved the wax, the design, I even saw the wax before he cast the ring.... I just didn't understand how big it was going to be. smile35.gifTo be fair, he did do a really good job, I'm just on my own little planet lately.

Officially 1 week before we take off! Today was the first day that I could check the weather in Playa del Carmen on the 10 day weather forcast.... not gonna lie, I totally got the butterflies!smile41.gif

Finalized everything with the wc and send an email to the photographer. This makes me feel much more relieved then I have been feeling lately.

It's really starting to come together ladies!!!!smile03.gif
Thanks!
Glad to hear things are going to work out with your wedding band. April 3rd… Man you are close!

I am looking for a few more sundresses this weekend too. Target has some cute ones out (if you haven't noticed, I LOVE Target!)

Since I lost so much weight last year, my wardrobe is pretty screwed up.
I ceratinly hope it's not a medical issue, but it doesn't sound like too bad of a problem to have!
Tracy - I've been trying to gather all my wedding stuff this week while FI out of town (keeps me busy). All I have to do is print menus and pack. I'm thinking all my wedding stuff will fit into 1 suitcase, maybe 1 suitcase and 1 duffle bag for the towels. I'm having a very hard time repacking my dang starfish. Wish I would have left them in the original packing.

Natasha- I love all of your wedding things! Those frames are really nice, I think the poem is a sweet touch. Door signs are a pretty cool idea too, it's unreal all of the things you can do with Vistaprint. I still seem to have a touch of the flu, but I think I'm on the mend, thanks for asking.

Jenna- I'm so glad that they're able to fix it for you and get your ring the way that you want it. That much be such a relief to you- I know you were pretty upset about it.

My MOH and a friend came over tonight and gave me a hand with the wedding favours. I think I mentioned before that I'm not doing OOT bags, just mugs as a kind of welcome gift, so I also wanted to have a table favour at the reception. I'm giving little photo albums with seashells on the front and we just tied them up with some fushia and black ribbon and put my thank you tags on them. They're looking good! Now they're all ready to be packed up- one less thing to do.

Yikes I've got a little catching up to do from last night :) I love it!

Tracy - I remember you asking somewhere in there about when Suzy and I were doing my flowers? I should be receiving them by Monday at the latest so we'll have to get to work either one evening next week, or possibly Friday since I'll be off work for the easter weekend. I know most people (including Suzy!) will be busy making dinner but I guess that's time not having nearby family can be seen as an advantage - no obligatory holiday meals. But of course I LOVE holiday meals so I will prob. still be cooking something :)

It's actually funny now that half the time I go over to Suzy's place I start off by apologizing to her FI since I'm usually bringing over new ideas and causing a little trouble! He just laughs though because he's realized how alike the two of us are and there's no stopping us! LOL!

Mel - that's awesome that you got your favours all done up last night. I'm trucking through mine pretty well right now too so it's a good feeling knowing they'll be done soon enough :) Ooooh! And speaking of fuschia and black - I saw this GORGEOUS little dress in those colours at the bridal salon where I picked up the girls shoes yesterday. It was on sale too but unfortunately too small for me otherwise I'd have snatched it right up!

Hey girls,

Hope everyone is having a good week, everyone getting all the last min stuff prepared.

I'm so happy, makes me really feel like I'm getting married today, as I got all my weddingstar order in. I don't know why this stuff makes me more excited, I admit... I'm weird, that or I just realize how much time we have left to go!!

It's engraved with our first initial, and the date.

I originally had these to be just our names, but when I got the call today saying it was in, they said they had to re inburse me for the engraving the charged to have the names, as these can only have 'bride and groom' I was ok with that, and they gave us he $$ back, but when I got home and open them, on the back side had our names on it!!!! Bonus!!!

I know this looks tacky because of the purple beads, but at the wedding they will be white/clear not purple so it'll look much better. Was just to give me an idea. And those are the heavy as ol' heck candle holder's.

Well Now I'm officially ready to get married, regardless of what is left to do lol.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
