okay first I have to point out how much of a EEEEEKKK!! moment I just had when I noticed that both Tracy & Michele's tickers are now counting down in DAYS and not months anymore!!! How awesome does that look now!?!

 

Good to hear that there was relatively little harm to your house and your stuff from the flooding. And definitely good that it wasn't any of your wedding stuff! That's awesome you found another bathing suit as well! I tried out one of my new ones in the hot tub this past weekend and it seems to pass. It's one that I can wear strapless for tanning when I need to but I doubt I'll do much swimming like that hahaha!

 

The weird thing is, although I know that I'm totally preoccupied by wedding stuff, I don't think it's entirely sunk in for FI yet! He wanted to sit and watch a movie the other night but was complaining because every time we sit down I start doing wedding stuff. He said to me "why do you have to do it now, can't it be some other time?" and I just laughed asking when the heck am I supposed to do it, if not now... considering there are really only three "working" weekends left for us! What a BOY!

I bought several items from VS 1 1/2 weeks ago online, and they came in the mail within 5 days. I did the slow ground delivery too, so you should have your items in before you leave. ***Thirfty buy: you can purchase bikini's for $15 (top and bottom) from VS if you click on the honeymoon option, you will see it there. This is what I bought and I"m really happy with the. They don't come in to many colors, but it's still a nice bathing suite. Considering that their cheapest bikinis are $15 for top and then antother $15 for the bottom I think this is the way to go.

 

I bought several starfish and sand dollars yesterday online and I can't wait to get them in. I decided to use the starfish as name cards for dinner and I'm going to use the sand dollars for the sand dollar prayer. You should really check out this site: Sand Dollars, Starfish and Seashells for sale, I found it from another girl on here that was very happy with her order, they are so reasonably priced too!

 

Once I get my final orders in I'll take pics of everything completed and post them.

michele, handing out your OOT bags before you go is probably one of the greatest things to do! it significantly cut down on what i have to bring!! in my information booklet in the bag i explained what everything in the bag was and that they should probably bring everything with them, but this way they had a carry-on bag and could pack the stuff however they wanted and they would know to leave room for it all!

 

glad to hear there wasn't super huge amounts of damage, but it just adds on to the stress doesn't it?!

 

i'm going to go try that VS bathing suit thing right now!! $15 for a suit, count me in!

 

meghan, i just now saw the "days" thing and it is majorly scary!! but in a good way of course

I noticed when I was shopping in Buffalo this weekend that VS have quite a few of their suits right in the store, even the ones that you can order online.

Oh my gosh Michele, I'm soooo sorry!!!! I don't know what I was thinking when everyone was talking about buying bathing suites, I was just in la-la-land.... I know how you feel about spending $300 at VS, I almost did the same thing, and then I randomly saw the link for honeymoon stuff, and I thought I could find some cute clothes there... that's how I found the $15 bikini's. I'm sooooo sorry!

Update! I just went to the VS website and looks like I was given a coupon at check out to reduce the price of the bikini to $15, they're normally $24, which is still pretty good considering most are $15-$20 for top and then again for the bottom. I checked my receipt and the coupon code popped up when I placed my order. Maybe it will do the same for you?

Haha that sounds like what I just did on Saturday night! I went on VS to buy the Bride sweatshirt to wear for my bach party this weekend and in cabo while getting ready on my wedding day and I spent $200. Haahaaa

Meghan, Yes our ticker is counting days now!!! and so I'm in total panic mode!!

I know what you mean when you sit down to watch a movie and doing wedding things at the same time. Lucky tho FI does realize time is flying and all of this needs to be done, he actually asking me to give him some task to get it done faster. But I'm thinking... If i want it done right, do it yourself lol!!

 

Good for all of you girls for getting deals on bathing suits. What I did was they had a special 10 items for 20$... so I bought all bathing suits, then went back and did it again.

So 15 bathing suits for $35. However my strapless I paid extra ( a lot extra!)

I pretty much just need cover ups, and a few more shorts and dresses. And lots of more wedding stuff to do lol.

 

I am so glad you didn't have any wedding stuff in the basement Michele!! Poor kitties (I have 4 so I understand)

 

Thanks for sharing you coupon with us, but for me, it's not worth it they charge and arm and a leg to ship to canada, plus the duty fee. Sucks I want to shop at VS!!!!

Thank you so much, I am feeling back to myself... once I'm done the time of the month everything goes back to normal.

Now to deal with the next time of the month (the day I leave!!!!... very nervous as I have pattern to end up in the hospitl every 3 months, and March was suppose to be that time and I didn't... I just hope it's not next month)

I actually had a nightmar last night,that I started my period on the 10th (the day we leave) but I ended up in the hospital,and so I missed my flight!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll be crossing my fingers for the next 28 days lol

FI met me for lunch and I told him that I was going to do this..if I'm happy he's happy.
I don't think he really understands everything that goes on with these OOT bags
He just knows I get lots of packages that have to do with the wedding...and I have piles of bags and tshirts all over the place...now I will put them together and make a little list of directions and i have a color printer at work so I don't have to use vistaprint!!!

I'm so excited!!!!
