we should try and remember after it's our day and it doesn't matter about the parties (bachelore/ette) doesn't matter who's standing up there. It matter that the 2 of (two of you) are up there making a memory of a life time. (I have to try and remember this for myself!!)

Are you getting the guys to escort the girls down the asile before you walk down? Or just for interdoucing?
No thunder stealing JEEZ! LOL! Nope, don't feel bad at all Tracy :)
I like your reminder that this whole wedding thing is supposed to be about ourselves and it's easy to get overwhelmed otherwise.
I think we're going to have the guys walking down the aisle with the girls, as long as FI doesn't mind standing up there on his own for a few minutes! It just seems to work out well and then people aren't waiting for all four girls to walk down on their own. It's a short enough ceremony as is, so I'd rather not drag it out waiting for everyone to get up and down the aisle. None of the girls are actually in real couples with the guys either (from the wedding party) so I think it'll be a good way to go!

Oh yes the training is going well. I'll be doing one personal training and two group classes a week for the entire month which should give my body a good kick and end up with a more obvious change. Honestly though my energy level has been WAY better and that's definitely the biggest change I've noticed so far. No weight loss but I'll live with that if there is still some toning and muscle mass building in there :)

And I had to add in Jenna cuz she posted about her date yesterday and it didn't make the list yet - and it's the first one up!! Also added Katie and both Tara's! Finally bridej9 - I feel like a jerk because you're at my same resort just a few days before me and I can't for the life of me think of your name right now SORRY!!! But I do think we should grab a drink before you head home (we get to DPA on your wedding day!).

Morning, ladies! I've got a bit of a story this morning.

This morning I was running late so I grabbed two pieces of bread to make toast at work for breakfast. I was toasting my bread (really yummy homemade whole wheat flax bread, too) and the phone rang. It was my boss and while we're chatting my toast burned. rant.gif I was super bummed, but I trim off some of the burnt bits and start to eat it anyway. Then, no word of a lie, the fire chief and another firefighter show up. Apparently I'd tripped the smoke alarm, but because it's in another part of the building and the cleaner was vacuuming we didn't hear it (it's not loud, more of a beeping). I think it's going to be that kind of day. From now on I'm sticking to grapefruit.

Oh Mel that's a rough start to a day, really rough!!! It'll get better from here!

Meghan, I think we really need to talk more often! lol I'm not quite sure daily is enough ;o) - good call on the guys and gals walking down together, I didn't even think of that! I want it over as quick as possible too! lol, so that should make it a little faster at least! Well not as boring anyway!

Meghan,

Yup I truly like your idea, and it'll go some much faster.

I'll just get the 2 girls to walk down by them selves and have the best man standing with the FI. It wont take long with just 2 girls.

I am so happy to hear your training is going good, and your doing a lot.. so happy you feel more energy from it.

I heard it's not about losing the weight, that you really shouldn't be weighting your self anyways, it's about the muscle you make and the fat you burn (not sure if it's right)

all that matter's is you feel some results.

So happy for you, keep up the hard work!!!

I other hand do not feel more energy when I work out, I actually feel so much more tired. But I am just a weird person in general lol.

Thanks for adding to the list!! :)

Oh Mel, I am so sorry to hear about your rough start of the day (pretty funny from my side, but not so much for you I can imagine, did you at least get to see the firemen, where they what firemen are suppose to be, HOT?) you can look at it as if it was an early gift your bachelorette party lol!!(if in fact u got to to see them)

LOL you'll stick to grape fruit, ah your to funny and cute!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Ladies ~ So, I think I might be the first April bride!

I mostly just lurk on the board but I find that everyone is so inspiring and I would have been totally lost without BDW!

I have added myself to the list...

Less than a month to go...holy crap!

tracy, i am so glad you got that list back out and running!! this way the poor souls like me and mel with weddings at the end of the month can keep track of you lucky ladies at the beginning!

and mel, here's hoping that the rest of your day goes a little smoother than your morning! at least you know that your fire dept. is prompt should you ever have a real emergency!!

Hey Claire - that bridge you're on... is it around Waterloo/St. Jacobs area by any chance? For some reason that was the place I thought of when I saw it - I totally miss that area!!

Mel - have to admit that I kind of had a laugh about your morning too but only because that's totally something I would end up doing and be whining about all day too! Hope the rest of your day goes a little better though :)

Yep, it seems to be going better now (thank goodness). No, the firemen weren't even hot- I feel like I was ripped off!!! Feel free to laugh at my morning- I'm the office joke today but I don't mind, it's pretty funny really.

I agree about the list- we'll be pretty lonely here when you girls start to leave for you weddings at the beginning of April. This way we can send some good vibes your way!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
