You are a brave woman to get married without living together. Be prepared for some adjustments if you've never lived with anyone...it's a big change. i'd been living alone for 7 years when FI and I moved in together...it was a big change for both of us.

My kits are per bag. so if there is a couple, like husband/wife - they get one OOT bag, one hangover kit but i'll put 2 tshirts in there and 2 of the cups i bought. the single people each get their own bag, so FI's aunt and cousin who are sharing a room, will each get a separate OOT bag. That made sense in my head - if it doesn't to you please tell me

I finally got a dress to wear to my "night before" dinner. I have very few clothes from losing weight and everything I own is black, so I've been needing to do this...the problem is there's been hardly any spring/summer stuff out and dresses are hard for me because I only look good in things above my knee, and i'm only 5'4" so things tend to be long. I tried on about 30 dresses today and bought 1...
That's funny. My FI snores too, but his snoring doesn't bother me for some reason. I sleep like a baby when he's with me, even if he is snoring. It's everybody else's snoring that bothers me. Weird huh?

I know it's going to be an adjustment living with someone. I've lived alone for the past 10 years, ever since I got a job out of college. Except for the few months that I lived with an ex-boyfriend. So, it's definitely going to be an adjustment. But, everything just feels right when we're together.

I'm going to do the same thing with my OOT bags. I'm going to give one Hangover kit (I'm gonna call them Survival Kits) in the couple's OOT bags and each single person gets their own.

Your dress is very cute. I've done a little shopping while I've been on my work trip here in Florida. Since it's warm here most of the year, they have swimming suits and summer clothes in the stores. They don't have spring or summer stuff out yet in Atlanta either. I've found few things here in Florida (sun dress, swimming suit, swim shoes, capris, short sleeve tops). That's more than a few things isn't it... I just shipped it all to my house today cause I don't want to carry that extra stuff on the plane with me Friday.

Michele, love the dress, love the color too, it's very very cute!!

I have not done any shopping yet...and my wardrobe is pretty disgusting!! lol

I need Stacy and Clinton really really bad, and the $5000 visa, but I don't think they come to Canada! haha, too bad though!

My FI doesn't snore, nor do I (probably because I don't really sleep, lol) but what my FI does do is talks, and I'm not talking like mumbles and jibberish - Full Conversations!!!

"constant variables, and don't contaminate the scene, and I got an A, not a B+ I got a (insert swear word of choice here)...A, oh yeah"

I have had a full coherent conversation thinking he was totally awake, but nope - knocked out cold!!!!!!!

My FI's father talks intelligently in his sleep, FI talks intelligently in his sleep and this weirdo gene has now been passed on to our son!! Although not intelligent conversations yet (he can't talk, lol) he goes on and on, and smiles and laughs and speaks his crazy baby jargon just like he's wide awake...it's all enough to put me in the loony bin!

Did I mention how much I'm looking forward to the night before the wedding when I'm totally alone!?!? lol in a king size bed..................ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I prob won't sleep a wink because it will all be too alien! lol

Hola! I've been m.i.a... things are crazy. Some good, some not as good.

I've jumped on the tanning bandwagon too. Got a tanning package at Cincinnati Tan (you too, erin?!) and am sloooowly seeing improvement. I'm pale and freckled otherwise, so it's a nice change and it feels good to get HOT in the middle of february!

I love the mug sticker idea. I ordered mugs from discountmugs.com and am keeping my fingers crossed that they look okay.

Tracy- you're a hot mama. Love your teaser photos!!

Oh man, I totally talk in my sleep like that! I mumble a bit, but I talk clearly a lot also and apparently you can have a conversation with me when I'm out cold. My Dad does it, too. Nice to know I'll probably have sleep talking kids! I've also done some sleepwalking in the past but not since I was a kid- I get that from my Mom.

Not sure what arrangements your resort has, but even though ours offers a free room for the groom on the night before the wedding, we're just going to switch up a little with a couple of our friends. Girls never mind sharing a bed but it'll be funny for the guys! I figure it'll help me sleep to have *someone* else in the bed and getting a good sleep will be worth not having the king size to myself. Besides, if it's anything like my last resort king - you'll still have PLENTY of extra space to spread out!

In reply to Tracy's comment about packing - it's all about setting everything out ahead of time and coordinating the clothes you want to wear on your trip. Seriously I will pick out a whole bunch of tops, a handful of bottoms etc and start matching them up "I can wear Shorts A with Top 3 & 5" so that you don't end up with a top, bottom or two plus shoes for every single day. It really does help minimize your list of stuff that's going in! And remember that there are a few days where your guests won't be with you anymore, so no one will notice if you have a repeat of some items! Clean shirts are usually the must-have because of how hot and sweaty you can get.

Michele - that dress you bought is really cute! Despite having to try so many on, it must be a nice reward for you to need a smaller size dress since you've been doing so well with your workouts and losing weight. Good for you!

And on a side note for everyone - SPRING ITEMS ARE HITTING THE STORES! The retail seasons are always ahead of the weather seasons and I've seen lots of capris, swim trunks etc coming out lately so there should be some good shopping before we all leave!

You're right that the cost could go up a little, but what a great idea for getting the individual packages of meds, especially if you only needed a handful of them! I wouldn't have thought of it this!!!

This is exactly what I do when we go on trips... I hate to have too many clothes, so I always try to pack just enough plus just a smidge more for just in case.

Bathing suites and spring/summer stuff has already hit the stores here, but I live in Fort Worth and it's getting warmer. Victoria's Secret has some good deals on bikini's right now... FMIL gave me a gift card for here that I plan on using this weekend. Also, Target has almost all of their spring stuff out and a whole line of swim wear out already!
Has anyone thought about making their own little packages for tylonal or other meds? We've done this at home before with our vacume food sealer. You can use any type of plastic and it will seal it, with out having to use the vacume part. Then you can just throw a label printed off at home and would be it's own little packet... Nobody would ever know the difference!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
