erin - I think your colour change sounds AWESOME! I've been feeling a little "stuck" to my own original colour scheme lately but I've decided that instead of ordering flower arrangements, I'm just going to learn how to make my own and then chance it once I get down there to go and find any random florist or corner flower stand to buy everything I need .... I think.... undecided.gif

 

angie - sorry that you had to go through that breakdown stage but I totally agree that it can help! I'm prone to letting my frustration out in bursts (which thankfully FI is getting used to finally), sometimes yelling or sometimes crying, but the release is usually just waiting to get out. Good to hear that you've been on a roll since then!

 

 

Last night I had Geoff laughing at me for nearly an hour. I decided a while ago that instead of buying aloe bottles for my OOT bags, I would buy travel size bottles (thanks to another BDW'er for those!) and large bottles of aloe gel to fill them, and of course add my own labels. Well let's just say that filling the small bottles from the large is easier said than done! Ahaha! He couldn't believe that I had the patience to sit there and fill all these little bottles but since I was watching tv, I really wasn't paying attention! I have a few more to finish off tonight but I really like what I accomplished and they only cost me about $0.85 each in the end! Yay! Once I get my bags finished up I will most pics but if anyone wants to see them early I can do that too :)

Quick question- is anyone else having trouble viewing the most recent page of this thread? I can see that it's been updated, and that there's another page, but whenever I try to go to the last page I get redirected back to the second last. It's a bit aggravating.

 

ETA- posting seems to bump me up to the new page. Weird.

meghan, that is a great idea for the aloe! i was having the hardest time finding travel size containers, so that sounds like the perfect solution!!

 

melidell.. for some reason i think it says there's another page, but once another post gets made, the last one and the new one get bumped to it. i don't know if that makes sense, but i've noticed it too and i don't think you're missing any posts.

Ah- that does make sense. Thanks!

Megan- that's an awesome idea, but the thought of you funneling all that aloe into little bottles is pretty funny. You must have a lot of patience.

I get that on different threads every now and then, sometimes for a couple hours, sometimes for a couple days! It is rather annoying, especially when it's a thread that you're on frequently - like this one!

 

Geoff just thought making my own bottles of aloe was wacko because we've got others that were purchased for a previous trip in our bathroom, but they are smaller and cost $1.99 each I believe! He's usually the one tight with money so I thought he'd appreciate that I saved us some $$$.

 

And yes, I occasionally am gifted with saint-like patience, but only when I'm doing something that is for me and that I want to be doing cheesy.gif

I can just see you meghan trying to squeeze the bottle into the other for hours LOL!!! that's insane but such a great idea.

I just got mine from Avon for 2.49$ but I like your idea better (cheaper)

So I was just now able to post and read all your post on this page. Alllll day it wont let me leave page 151!! sad.gif

It definitely has to do with the server.

I know exactly what you mean - Once I admitted to FI and my friends that it is actually stressing me out to do this, I felt better and have been able to do things.

A lot of times I will see a new post from someone on this thread and I can't get to it....so frustrating!!!

Time is truly ticking away ladies. I'm at 2 months, 3 weeks, which is really like 11 weeks, right? Not very long when I think about it and all of what I have to do!!!

And of course this one worked and I was able to edit it even sad.gif ARG. I'm annoyed now and don't want to rewrite everything a third time.

 

I feel like I'm missing something in the to-do stuff... anyone care to post the things they've checked off or still have to do so I can figure out what I've forgotten about?!!?

That's sooo annoying!!! sorry to hear that....
this is pretty much eveything.. I might have deleted a few things but it was more for AHR.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners.
