Great review!!!! You're wedding looked and sounded wonderful!! Thank you so much for sharing!

I'm working on planning mine at the Gran/Royal in June 2010, as I type. I'm debating on booking our stay at the Royal or Gran, though. Is the Royal that much nicer? Bc it's definitely pricier, goodness!

I'm wondering how much cheaper it is to have the reception at the Gran vs the Royal. I can't remember the exact price of our package but for the Luxury pkg it was somewhere in the high 2 to low 3 range....is the gran even cheaper than that??

I would be interested in the pics of the bouquets too! My wedding is on May 21st 2010 and the Gran!! Am soo excited but nervous so your review was very helpful knowing how helpful and nice everyone was! My ceremony is set at 4pm so I may switch it to 5pm too.. any other advice would be great too!

Here are some more pics of my bouquet that everyone was asking about. I think these are the best ones I have of it. I finally got around to posting them - sorry it took so long! These are from my photographer!

I included this last one b/c it shows how our area was set up. It was well blocked off. They had lights under the table and some that were standing up that lighted the dance floor. :-) Let me know if you have any questions!

Did you go through a travel agent or did you do it own your own?

              Pics Are Beautiful!! Can't wait!!

                Hi -
The Royal's resort is much nicer obvioulsy - its double the cost. But I really liked the Gran. I would go there again.
I did use a travel agent to book - but some of my friends/family didn't use her. Either way all you have to make sure is that evveryone books under the name of your wedding. This way the hotel can keep track of you. If you get a big enough group all arriving and leaving at the same time you are eligible for a discount.

Our wedding is at the Royal in a couple of weeks. We, as well as all of our guests, used the same travel agent. She is wonderful. All of our friends were very impressed by her! Annalynne Bogner annalynne@lonepalmtravel.com

                  I will highly recommend her!
