Thighmasters...gotta love em

Recommended Posts

I found a thighmaster in the garage from about 10 years ago. I have been using it a couple times a day and I am impressed with the results. Definite reduction in the jello action down there. I use it while on the computer or lying in bed. Do they even make these anymore??

Anyway, if anyone can dig out one of these from their rubble, you may want to re-evaluate it's handyness.

Y'know, I used to have both the Thighmaster and the ButtMaster! lol.it's funny, cuz I really was lovin 'em at the time, and it's one of those things that as time went on, and other crap came out, you just sort of forget about.

You're right though..may have to revisit both. I'd probably have to Ebay one though..I know I don't have either of them around anymore.

These things were a dime a dozen back in "the day". I bet Salvation Army, Goodwill, ect may have some laying around. Also, try posting an ad under the "wanted" section in Craigslist. A lot of people read that site and would love to make a few bucks if they can.

This is funny that I ran across this thread. When I was about 8 years old, we had an exchange student (obviously from another country). He bought me a thighmaster for Christmas! I was very confused, as I'm sure you can imagine. I don't know if it was the culture thing, or the gender thing, but it is funny to look back on.

I ended up using it regularly after highschool when I was trying to get in shape, and I agree, it does help with the toning! I should actually look into one... I'm having trouble with my inner thighs :)

omgsh, I saw a device the other day and thought, wow, that is a total knock off of the good ol' ThighMaster! Wish I could remember which store I saw that in... I think it may have been Winners (the US equivalent would be Marshall's or Ross')

I actually just use my exercise ball and squeeze it between my thighs. Gives the same effect and you can use the ball for all kinds of other exercises.

    • Hundreds of years before, the basic jewellery were made out of seashells and bone, trees and animal skin. In the ancient times, the Egyptian jewellery first came into existence. Egyptian culture inhabited technology, gemstones, and precious metals early in comparison to other places. They were inspired by the culture of royalty and aristocracy which led to thinking noble like having a deep appreciation for luxury. This made them create impactful jewellery and leading trends. Copper was the first metal that came into existence through which we as humans got so many jewellery items.  However, the major focus on jewellery came when they discovered gold. This allowed the Egyptian to rule as the first jewellery maker. The ancient Egyptians valued adornment and were worn by both men and women.  Material and metals: The plethora of material which was used in the making of this Egyptian jewellery was basically gold and silver. Egyptian has mostly attracted towards gold and the availability of silver was less in Egypt as compared to any other place. The colour variation was due to the mixing of elements such as alloys like copper, iron, silver into gold.  Charm jewellery: It was then also an interesting concept to have charms in necklaces, bracelets and other jewellery items. It’s just they were made up of stones and precious or semi-precious jewellery. In this picture above the necklace is adorned with precious stones in different charms shapes. Gem and stones: The more royal pieces of Egyptian jewellery were adorned with the precious jewellery items. The gemstones were semi-precious stones, precious stones are other various gems. The most prized stone were lapis lazuli, rock crystal, and pearls. Emeralds were also found in these jewellery pieces. These were made from ground quartz and then molded into expensive gemstones. They are also used as charm jewellery when molded or carved in different shapes.
