I have been flying all over the US since I was little and often times as an un-accompanied minor. I have been in a plane that was struck by lightning and lost power breifly, however I am still completly un affected by it and fall asleep the second the engines start going.

it is crazy.

I hate flying - sux cuz i love to travel! But I feel like the older I get the worse Im becoming about flying! FI hates it too - he is worse than me

I really hate the whole experience - the stress of the airport, delays, lost luggage, taking your shoes off, being super uncomfortable, turbulence, kicking and screaming babies

Im waiting for the day we can teleport ourselves :)

Wow - those kind of stories actually make me feel a bit better... that is - if something does go wrong.. it most likely will still be ok :)

It's not that I particularly like it, but I love to travel... and I travel for work. So, I'm a platinum flyer on no less than two programs (Flying Blue and Miles &More) - meaning I gather more than 200,000 frequent flyer miles annually.

I stress only in the airport, until I go through security. I always fear I will miss my flight ! After that, it's like a little vacation, a moment apart. I have my ipod, my magazines (I only read tabloids on flights), my bottle of water...

The nec plus ultra : flying business... it does not happen oftern, but then it's a party wink.gif Just getting in the plane and seating in these seats that completely lay down (in Air France)... and getting a cup of champagne... Samba !

Right now I'm completely obsessed with the lost Rio-Paris Air France flight. I'm awaiting the manifest (to be published tomorrow) anxiously. Some of my colleagues knew people onboard. It's so awful. I know flying is safer that taking your car (90 less chances to die), but when something like this happens, this is striking. Plus Air France is my preferred airline, so I'm anxious to know what happened.

I LOVE flying. It's a comfort zone, partially cause I used to work for an airline, and because we travel alot!!!! I think working for an airline I think really helps cause I kind of understand everything that is happening.

If you're really freaked out about turbulence sit in the row just on the back end of the wing, you'll feel it less there!

I'm also very interested in what happened w/ the Rio-Paris flight. Accidents happen and guaranteed whatever happened on this flight happened REALLY REALLY fast!

I love to fly and to be at airports and planes and travelling...hahahah I love even driving by the airport and watching the planes take off and land!!!

But the FI HATES IT!! I have gotten him to be a little better but he doesn't even like to get out of his seat, just nice and tightly buckled in!

I have gone through some turbulence that kinda felt like a rollercoaster...but nothing major!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
