Hi everyone,
My name is Julia. I'm not engaged yet, but my boyfriend and I have been together for over 5 years and have lived together for almost a year. We agreed that we would live together for a year before getting engaged. So... sometime soon now!
I'm currenly unemployed, and a friend of mine suggested using some of my free time to wedding plan. My boyfriend and I definately want a DW. He's a teacher (summers off), and my work-aholic brother-in-law says July is the best time of year for him to take time off from work. Since we want a tropical DW, we are limited to the islands that are summer-friendly. Aruba is our prefered location right now.
Any advice and good resources for information are very welcome!
Notice: The site will be offline this Saturday evening (4/21/18) for a major software update. Thank you in advance for your patience while upgrade to a new-improved version of BDW.

Strongly considering Aruba!

Welcome!
I work in the school system and that's why I chose Aruba for my destination wedding in the summer of 2010. It's definately a summer friendly island. Plus, I think that's the low season and I notice that there are tons of sales for resorts at that time.
