i'm very disappointed & worried! need help!!!

Hi ladies,

a month ago i finally decided i wanted to do my centerpieces and bridal bouquet using fake flowers. i contacted several vendors and got a great price from bitter sweet wedding designs. i ordered a sample becasue i wanted to make sure i liked the flowers before i placed the order for all 16 centerpieces i needed. i ordered the sample on May 4, 2009. i still have yet to recieve the sample!! i'm so frustrated! they told me they mailed it out on May 23rd and i still do not have anything. i called twice and emailed twice to get a tracking number and find out where my order is....and nothing!!!

 

i already paid for it and even though it was only $22 i'm afraid that with only 2 months left to my wedding, i will not find a vendor who will make the centerpieces for me.

 

at this point i do not want to use bitter sweet wedding designs. i seriously have had a bitter sweet experience! i have been in touch with plumerias wedding and she was very nice, but was charging $15 than bitter sweet weddings. i guess at this point i'd rather pay a little more than i expected and ensure i get what i am paying for and on time!!

 

i couldn't even sleep last night becasue i was so worried of what to do next. thank you for listening, i just needed to vent!

Isaura what are you looking for centerpiece wise? Do you have a pic and what flowers are you wanting? And what price range are you looking for?

 

Most places will probably charge a little more for a rush, some might not even attempt w/ this time frame

 

I'm working w/ Shavon from fresh real natural touch artificial silk wedding bouquet flowers She's really great and I think she has great prices.

 

I think the best way to really get them at this point is through a good recommendation. Let me know what you are thinking and I can tell you if Shavon has done it or can, etc!

i actually already requested a quote from Shavon. i spoke to her when i was shopping around for prices. she quoted me $45 per centerpiece. with all the other cost i recieved - she was actually the most expensive.

oh well sorry! i'm paying $45 for my centerpieces as well. Although because of the flowers I wanted almost every other vendor was going to charge more than her cause they had to special order a certain flower so Shavon ended up being the cheapest, and I ordered A TON more stuff so in the end after lots of searching shavon ended up being the cheapest for everything w/ me including shipping

i just wanted to post a update for anyone who reads this. Fortunately and unfortunately there wasa mix up with the Canadian post office. apparently they did not put enough stamps on the package and the post office decided to just leave it there until someone from bitter sweet would come looking for it!!

 

so bitter sweet let me know about the mix up and immediately went over to UPS to send it through them. they recieved a refund from the Canadian post office. Bitter sweet assured me they always deliver final orders via UPS. and what put me more at ease is that even though i just ordered a sample - she still has me in her calendar of weddings she is doing this year! phew! that was a close call! i think i feel better now!!!

I thought it was weird that bittersweet wedding designs would mess up like that. They have a very good reputation here on BDW and I got excellent service from Crystal. I couldn't have asked for better!

I am glad the mix up was worked out! I am using Bittersweet as well and so far communications with Crystal have been great. She has been prompt with answering my emails and was by far the best price quote! Let us know how your sample turns out! I would love to see a pic and know if you are happy with it. I hope everything works out!

thank you ladies! i did also find it weird that communication was falling through becasue they do have a great reputation on this site! i should say the Canadian post office messed - no offense to any Canadians! everytime i emailed her she would respond in a matter of seconds. but she has been sick for the past couple of days and i guess thats where the mix up happened. i'm glad everything is worked out. i will be sleeping very well tonight and wil post pictures when i get it!
