My BD shoot is this weekend and I am a nervous wreck! I'm very camera shy and I have never taken professional pics before. I wanted to do this for my husband to be and for myself and I want to get a little risque (i.e. nude) but I haven't really seen any photos of women doing tasteful nudity sooooo....

....has anyone here done nude photos for their BD shoot? My photographer is very comfortable with doing nudes and apparently does this for many brides but I have never actually seen any so I don't have much inspiration to look upon. I want to do it, but I don't want to look awkward. I

If you've done nude, what was it like? Any tips on how to pose etc?

I have done a lot of modeling and as a make-up artist worked on many sets, some with nudity and it all comes down to confidence. When your FI is away one day, run around the house stark naked for as long as you can. Really. Do the dishes, fold the laundry, whatever, so that it feels as normal as possible. Then get in front of a mirror and practice poses. Pay close attention to what makes you look taller, thinner in the right spots and curvier in the rights spots. And arch your back! It makes everyone's but look better. Also pay attention to what faces don't look forced, consipated, etc. and remember how each pose and face FEELS. You don't have a mirror so remembering how it looks won't help you at all. Get to a good face and pose and close your eyes and try to put all that info into your muscle memory. I hope that helps!

I went topless in some pics....not fully nude because I wore thong panties. They were really tasteful and most of the shots were from the side. Also, I did one shot like Kim Kardashian's photo shoot where she was nude, but wore lots of pearls around her neck. It turned out beautifully. I would share my pics, but my photographer hasn't finished them yet. I am not modest, so I didn't mind. Plus I knew the photographer. If your photographer has done BD work before I am sure they won't think anything of the nudity. I think your FI will really enjoy it! wink.gif

Great advice! My session is coming up in July and I've been trying to figure out how unclothed I want to be-I don't feel like I'm a modest person but for some reason thinking about taking the pictures I get a little nervous.

I did a few topless and nude shots! It was sooo much fun and the pics turned out great. With the completely nude one I had a big lolipop covering my private area and its so cute! I don't mind sharing if you promise to keep them to your eyes only!! PM me if u want to see the pics.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
