How do you "deal" with your significant others' health issues?

We took a 6 pack over to his friends. I had 1 and he had the other 5 from about 330 to 830. My understanding is that alcohol can lower sugar but the carbs in beer can raise it, so the exchange of carbs + alcohol + insulin is a little hard to calculate and it changes for every different type of beer. It was a miscalculation.

Honestly, I'm not overwhelmed with him hardly ever. I think a little of the worrying and calling is because I don't get to see him as much as I did other people I dated. Before him, I only worked part time and went to school full time. Now I'm working full time on a 2nd shift job, going to school part time, and running a business. He works 45-50 hours/week on a 1st shift job.

Wow Crystal-sounds like you guys are doing everything right. I didn't mean to come across harsh or anything, I was just curious from the info in your first post. Work and school and running a business must be brutal...and overtime like that for anybody would be stressful on the body. I sure wish you both the best and again-kudos to you for all that you're doing :-)

I didn't take it like that at all. If you didn't notice, I posted my original post at 230 am. I'm sure I could have said some things better!

3. Business
4. Work
5. Everything else
