Which photographer are you flying out??
We're flying out Amber Hughes. She's diversifying her wedding portfolio and so we got a great rate for being her first destination wedding! She has really affordable rates for engagement sessions, you should look her up!

Hey Everybody!

 

We took everyone's advice and did a photo session with a local photographer yesterday!!smile29.gifsmile29.gif

 

It was kind of a one-year-anniversry shoot:-)

 

The photographer is a vendor on here -- Michael Wachniak -- AND HE ROCKS!!

He was SO nice and accommodating... and he took kick-ass shots.

 

I'll post some soon I promise!!

Oh I heard he was shooting a couple in the snow yesterday - that must have been you! I can't wait to see your photos!!!

So glad you went ahead and did that :)
Hopefully these photos will help make up for your disappointing photography experience last year.

Mike is photographing my wedding next year. And you're right, in addition to being amazingly talented, he is super nice and enthusiastic. I heart him a lot!!!

That's hilarious -- yes -- that was us! :-)
It was FREEZING, but worth it b/c the pictures he got are awesome!
I am SO jealous you'll have him shooting your wedding...you'll have amazing pictures!

My faves are the 7th and 8th from the top :)

 

I completely blog-stalk Michael all the time... makes me so excited for him to shoot our e-session in the spring, and of course our wedding next December!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
