Help finding inexpensive BM dresses!!

Recommended Posts

I need help badly. I am searching for orange BM dresses (i was going for a persimmon, but will go for nearly any shade of orange as long as it is not neon or too dull). I am looking for dresses under $100. Any ideas??!! I would greatly appreciate any help!!

OK I found the threads

In the last wedding I was in, we all got to pick our style of dress & she picked the color & material. There are so many options in nu-georgette from the brand After 6. Also, Dessy & Alfred Sung are the same material so you can pick from those too.

I compiled all the dress options, but there are so many more than this now.

My dress was $100 shipped with no tax. To get a price that good, you have to shop around online. I ordered from Chrissy O's. They will beat a competitors price by some %, so I had them price match another store. RK bridal maybe?? It was really easy to do though & the customer service was great.

here is a thread about all the online discount dress shops

They take about 14 weeks to get to you, so you have to order early.

I just compared my measurements to the After 6 size guide. It was a perfect fit. A great thing about a short dress too is that you don't need to adjust the length.

My dress was #6505. I really liked it.

Ok I'm hoping I can help!!!! I'm also doing orange and buying the girls dresses as a present. I ended up finding these for $25 dollars at JC Penny!!! I don't know the size of your girls....but these were in the juniors section. All my girls are small and they had a MASSIVE collection of sundresses, etc.... My guess was that these were prom dresses or homecoming, etc...they were originally 50 dollars, but now that schools almost out they were on sale for $25

I already knew where to look. I was just a BM in a wedding & we bought dresses from After 6. I was going to go with that one originally, but I went with a different one with straps.

Im gonna have to throw in here jcrew b/c I am a big fan of their dresses. They are definitely ones your bmaids could wear again (I actually own quite a few of them, and not b/c I was a bridesmaid) and come in different fabrics and colors that would all go great together. They range from $165-180, but go on sale pretty fast and there are also coupon codes that come out alot for 20% off (sign up to be on their mailing list).

Here is another option that I almost went with -- it's from Banana Republic, and although the description says "Sarong Red", the dresses are actually a deep orange color. They are currently $59.99 (originally $130.00). They look comfortable, easy to pack and are the right price. Your ladies would have to pick them up quickly, however b/c they have been on sale for a while. Still looks like they have all of the sizes.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
