koolatta are you against buying a dress online? there are lots of online places w/ good return policies and you have 5 months. We are leaving in 6 weeks and we just ordered our BM dresses online yesterday, one of my BM's did hers a week ago and has had it for 3 days.

lexibride that is a great idea. I'm going to look at what they have. I was a little skeptical about light in the box, but many people have used them so I may give it try.

 

jetsbride and Josie, lovely dresses. I went to forver 21 and the 2 dresses I really liked were super short when I tried them on :-( I wish there was a JC Penny by me too. I'm going to H& M tomorrow.

The weddings I have done latley have had sooo many cool BM dresses.  All dresses ranging from super inexpensive to OMG!  Ugly bridesmaid dresses are such a thing of the past. The modern bride wants her bridal party to look good and to be able to wear the dress again. Fashion does not have to be expensive. Do not dismiss Forever 21 and H&M (and other discount stores) there are sooo many cool choices. Victoria Secret has a convertable dress I believe comes in array of colors (look for orange)! Be creative, it doesnt have to cost your BM a fortune and your pictures will look great! Jewelry that pops,cool hair, awesome make-up and BAMMMM! You are good to go!  Have fun:)
