I did it too...Dad was actually really happy that Mom was there with us too! He was a little shy about the whole spotlight idea so it was nice to have 3 of us walking down the isle!

Do what you want to do! - Glad you decided to go with it!

btw...our aisle wasn't wide enough!! haha!!

We walked down the beach and there was plenty of room but once we got to the isle Dad still held on to my arm but kinda had to take a step back to let me and Mom walk through.

Oh well!! - maybe if you mention it to you WC first they will try to move things around to make room??!!1

This thread made me laugh for a couple reasons..

1. My FI walked down the aisle with both his parents...it was a last minute decision...and I didn't know until just now that it's a Jewish tradition...b/c wait for it...his family is Jewish!! That's so funny they never said anything...and I'm pretty sure my FI (now DH) had no idea! (and probably still doesn't :-))

2. They also didn't have enough room in the aisle! The three of them kind of had to squish in:-) So, if you are going to do this, maybe ask that your aisle be made a bit wider than usual:-)

And as everyone has laready said...do whatever YOU want! It's your wedding! smile29.gif

My DH was also accompanied by his parents:

As previous posts said... this is your day!

OMG, that was so cute! I love that your DH was walked down the isle too! I am going to ask my honey tonight if he wants to do this! I love it!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
