That dress is stunning, I can see why you are in love with it. If you have tried it on and you think its the one, I say, if you can swing it, you should totally have it. I think you would be able to re-sell it as well after, as long as you work at selling it. Its a gorgeous dress.

I say GO FOR IT! And you know what's another sign that it's YOUR Perfect Dress: You resemble the model in the pic wearing it!

I agree that you should look into finding trunk shows in your area or maybe offer to pay a few hundred towards getting the dress of your DREAMS! Good luck!

1. Send the seller of the used dress and see if she can provide more details/pictures.
2. If you prefer to have a new one, check with the salons to see if they have any upcoming trunk shows that offer a 10% - 15% discount.
3. Contact the salons to see if they are willing to sell you a sample at 40% discount.

Hope this helps! I know the feeling of really wanting the one you are in love with.
Great tips!! Thanks!! There's a trunk show at the boutique where they have THE DRESS, but it's in September sad.gif So sad, because not only would it be 15% off, but I'd also have the opportunity to meet Mr. Matthew Christopher himself! He goes to all his trunk shows and meets all his brides. But my wedding is in January, so I'd be cutting it seriously close! Oh well. He has earlier ones in NY which is about an hour drive...it'd be well worth it! I'll have to check it all out :) I'm so excited!!

Budget was never in my vocabulary also! Until last year when FI and I started to save for our down payment for our house! Our spending habits did a 180...and now there's mortgage and bills! Although I splurge on things I love...just not as often sad.gif Oh well, we have a roof over our heads, lol.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
