I dont know if I could sit through 30 minutes of it to be honest. She did say we can stop if you cant handle it, and I asked how long would it take. She said 5 minutes or so...I said oh dont bother stopping than.

She is charging me $100 a session for the armband, and since Im getting the ankle tattoo done at the same time she reduced that cost to $50. She said the ankle should be done in 2-3 sessions. The armband more sessions since she cant do the whole armband at once. It would reduce blood flow and wouldnt be safe. So probably 2-4 sessions on each side.

The armband defintely is going to be expensive to remove, but I expected it to be more. Its also worth it to me. I have wanted that thing removed for years now!

Looking at it now I can already tell a difference. When it heals a bit more I can take a picture and post it.
I've started to get one removed as well and boy does it hurt! I'd say the grease splatters description is pretty accurate. You got a great price. I'm removing a star on my arm and its costing $400 per session!

Kelly, $400 a session? Wowsers! Is that at a doctors office? Im getting it done at a tattoo shop where a doctor use to do them. But the owners of the shop got certified. So I think that may be why its a bit cheaper.

These ITCH like crazy. Seriously I feel like itching them off!!!!! So hard trying to not touch them.

I have to say Im impressed with how well the ankle one looks faded already!

Yeah, its at a dr office. I wish I could find another way to get it done. I find it funny that the tattoo shop got certified to remove them as well. Talk about cornering the market. You can get your tattoo there and then go back months later to remove it and get another one! lol Great idea on their part.

Melissa,

I have a tattoo for about 10 years that I really want to have removed! I've heard some many people say it's a waste of money that they only fade. I live in Houston TX could you please tell what kind of Laser they used on you and if they have a office in Houston!! I want this off so bad!

Thanks for any help you can give me

  • 2 weeks later...

I have a friend who decided to try this. The first time she put it on she thought it might work ok and thought that the ink was coming up, but after trying it more times she found it doesn't work. She said it causes a lot of bleeding, it hurts and the tattoo hasn't faded. So, she stopped using it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
