You know what the laser pain is a bit more of a shocker than the actual tattoo. Its like wow, that really hurts. But if you talk and dont think about its, its bearable. And its pretty fast. I have an armband Im getting removed, and an arrowhead on my ankle. So both were done in 5 minutes. She said every session should be that short. So its bearable. I dont know if I could sit through 30 minutes of it to be honest. She did say we can stop if you cant handle it, and I asked how long would it take. She said 5 minutes or so...I said oh dont bother stopping than.

She is charging me $100 a session for the armband, and since Im getting the ankle tattoo done at the same time she reduced that cost to $50. She said the ankle should be done in 2-3 sessions. The armband more sessions since she cant do the whole armband at once. It would reduce blood flow and wouldnt be safe. So probably 2-4 sessions on each side.

The armband defintely is going to be expensive to remove, but I expected it to be more. Its also worth it to me. I have wanted that thing removed for years now!

Looking at it now I can already tell a difference. When it heals a bit more I can take a picture and post it.

Its not my half sleeve. Im in LOVE with that tattoo. And just had that done last year. Its an armband.

Dumb decision I made on my 18th birthday. I liked it for a few years but that was probably it.

OK wow, thanks for the info! I'm not 100% sure if I want one of mine removed but I've kinda been thinking about it lately. It meant a lot to me at the time but not as much anymore. I think it would depend on what it would look like after...if it was completely gone, I'd definitely consider it. But if it would still kinda be seen or if my skin would look different, then I'd probably rather keep it. I can't wait to see your after pics!

How close together can you have the sessions, i.e. how long will the process take altogether?

I have to wait 4 weeks in between each session. And with the armband she cant do the whole thing in one sitting because it will restrict blood circulation. So every 2 weeks Ill be getting some work done on it. Id say within 8 weeks I should be able to see a good difference!

The pictures she showed me of previous clients you cant tell they ever had one. Ill defintely take progress pictures to share :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
