Photosouvenir - No Response??

Recommended Posts

I heard back from Severine! Yeyyyy! She said that the 2010 packages are still a work in progress, but she doesn't foresee much changing on the one already distributed. Also, a plus for Excellence resort brides is that they don't require a deposit if you are getting married at the resort, since photosouvenir is the on-site photographer. Once we arrive at the resort, we confirm our package there.

We love our painted canvas. I think it was worth it and we are excited to have it for years to come, we just have to get it framed so it doesn't get ruined! Severine brought us all our photos and asked us to pick our top 60's for our albumn and the one we wanted for the canvas! Our wedidng was on a friday, she has that to us by Monday evening and by Wednesday night we left with EVERYTHING!!! You get to pick the music that your slide slow is set to ( so bring a burned copy of your CD if your songs are typical wedding songs) They were so worth the money because you wouldn't be able to get what we got for that price in here in the US!!!!

I would like to book as well, but it doesn't sound like you ladies are having much luck with that either.
Happygilmore, how long before your wedding were you able to book your session? I do know they are quite busy from what I've been reading, but that still doesn't appease us brides, lol. Let's hope they get to their emails soon...
I think we booked with them in June of 2008 for May 2009

Wow, that is an amazing turn around time!!! Were you able to leave with your ceremony video as well or is that being shipped to you?

Severine sent me the 2009 prices back in March, but they don't have them listed on their website.

I am actually getting married December 19th of this year and am using photosouvenir. I faxed over our booking form and have heard from Severine but she said that she would email me soon (that was 2 weeks ago) with information on how to get the 25% to her through paypal. It makes me a little nervous but EVERYONE says that the communication when doing a destination wedding isn't great but at the end everyone pulls through. Ahhh yaya!

I know that when she emailed me last week, she said they had a crazy month so that may be why. If you haven't heard anything, I would send her a courtesy email reminder. Best of luck!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
