Any MOH or brisedmaids trying to slim down?

    My eating was bad this weekend One of my best friends called me in tears friday night after a big fight with her boyfriend. She lives down the street and needed to come over to talk......jason and i had been planning to make dinner but we didn't have enough for her so we ended up just ordering a pizza. Then Sat. we went to a festival with my family and I had too many mai tais and also had a hot dog - boo. Sunday was my dads birthday AND fathers day and we went to a baseball game (another hot dog and some ice cream) then out to dinner at red lobster....i just got a salad & stuffed mushrooms but a few of those damn cheesy biscuits did me in. However we have been working out 5 days a week (M-F) and we got up this morning and lifted chest & triceps and 2 miles on the elpitical - it was about an hour workout.......just gotta keep on going and not give up and stay disciplined!

      Josie~ I’m sorry to hear about the weekend of bad eating. C’mon gurlie, lets pull it together and really focus on eating right, even under pressure. It’s awesome that you’re exercising so well but the thing is, you’re probably just burning off all the bad stuff you’re eating when you really want to burn off the extra that you are trying to lose. Keep me posted. You can do this. Have you had any more fittings for your MOH dress? How is it fitting now?

      This heat is really trying to suck the life outta me but I shall NOT give up! I’m so excited because I got a new tattoo yesterday. My hubby surprised me with it last night; well he took me to the shop and all I had to do was sit down. *LOL*
      I was up this morning at 4:30am and got in a 2mile walk on my treddie. The whole time I wanted to go back to bed but I just kept on pressing toward the mark. I plan to run my 3 miles this evening as well. I can really tell a difference in my butt and legs; this running is whipping my body into some kind of shape!

        Ugh. I just got on the scale and I gained 3 lbs in the last 2 weeks....my fiance brought home a cake and peanut butter cookies from a fantastic bakery for my birthday last week in addition to the great food and alcohol celebrating with my friends.

          My final MOH dress fitting is tomorrow...... its a size 10 and I've only lost about 5 lbs so I think they'll have to add on some fabric to make it fit. This week was FI's bday and his parents are coming to town this weekend.

          Deishue I'm trying my hardest to be super disciplined for you (and of course me). Congrats on the new tatt!

            Crystal~ Oh nooooo hun!! I hope you are bouncing back from all the bad eating with some good old fashioned hard work outs and cleaner eating. There will always be bad eating times, you just have to find a way to balance it out and recover so that the bad eating times are few and far in between. **HUGZ**

            Josie~total drag about having to add the fabric to the dress. Hopefully it won’t be too costly for the process. In the mean time, just take stock in knowing that you have plenty of time to slim down for your own wedding but you gotta put in the work now my friend. You can do it…just dig a bit deeper and don’t give up fighting the good fight! **smile**

            Yesterday was my birthday and it was an awesome day! I relaxed and was pampered by my family and friends; I sure needed it too! I was a complete slug for the past 3 days and did not a stitch of exercise but I paid for it this morning because my body woke itself up at 3:59 am and would NOT let me fall back asleep! I had NO CHOICE but to get up and get in that basement for some work on this body of mine! It was kind of creepy but I felt so amazing afterwards and now I’m back on plan.
            This is me this morning …I’m 39 and feeling pretty foxy- the world is NOT ready for me to turn 40!

              I love it!!! It's SO adorable!! Congrats & Happy belated birthday!!

              I finally brought my scale over and no weight loss yet.......but I did 6 miles on the eliptical this morning & feeling great. Took the weekend to get organized and am working on developing meal plans as we speak!

                I've lost 1 lb so far from working out. I was doing alot of running around my apt. complex, but it's simply tooooo hot out now. I hate going to the complex gym - little kids always running around, people walking through to go to the pools and bathroom...they have a crappy set up, but it looks like I'm gonna have to get over it. LOL

                  Josie** thanks so much. I had an awesome day. Good luck with your meal plans, it’s a great way to make sure that you stay on track!

                  CrystalM** Congrats on losing that pound! It was insanely hot and humid last week, thank goodness for the cool down this week. I hope you are able to find a way to make it work with the complex gym. Do you have a good MP3 player? If not, it’s a great investment and it really helps you focus and tune out annoyances.

                  I’m back in action!! Last night I was able to run. I haven’t been able to run about 4 days and it was killing me! I only ran 2.5 miles instead of my normal 3 miles. Time was NOT on my side but I did what I could with the time that I had and I’m happy about that! I am proudly wearing my “skinny” Capri jeans today and I feel so sassy!                   My eating has been much better too. I’m really trying to be better about consistency. My biggest problem is that I don’t eat enough most days. Go figure…lol
                  I’m going to “start looking” at dresses for the wedding but I’m not going to try anything on right now. My body has a tendency to drop weight really easily and I DO NOT want to commit to a dress and then have to pay a grip in alteration fees because of it. I’m excited to find a dress but I’ll just window shop for the time being.
                  I hope everyone else is doing well.
                  BTW…It will be my 4th wedding anni on the 16th of this month! Click the image to open in full size.

                    I have an iPod, but it won't sync with my computer for some reason. I've been watching the TV, which is stuck on MTV b/c someone stole the remote LOL. I've been so dang busy the last few days I haven't been up there and I know I'm not going to be able to go today either

                      Happy soon to be anniversary Desihue :) :) Our legal day is 7-17! Congrats on the awesome workouts. I finally reached a point monday where I said "I've had enough!" after seeing my highest number ever on the scale - 170. I devoted myself to cardio workouts every AM. I'm doing great and feeling REALLY motivated!!! Monday I did 6 miles on the eliptical, and yesterday and today I did 5....burning over 300 cals & eating healthy. I'm down to 166 already and its only been 3 days. I think, if I keep it up, I can be where I want to be for the wedding! It's been getting easier everyday too :)
