There's nothing wrong with dress #1, but if you LOVE dress #2, and you can afford to buy it, I say go for it. I think Dress # 2 is beautiful with all of it's beading and the neckline - you will definitely get the WOW you are looking for. And if you'll still use dress #1 for your AHR, that's just a bonus! I actually like # 3 too...

I actually really like the new dress and definitely don't think it'd be a what the heck kind of dress. I think it's beautiful and it's actually more flattering on you, IMO.

Thanks so much for all of your fabulous opinions! I am so thankful for all of the support of everyone on this truly amazing forum...you're all making me feel so confident that I have found THE ONE!

And, to answer the question of selling dress #1 -- sadly, I already suggusted it to my mom and she sort of flipped out since she paid for it, so it still has to make some sort of appearance (even though she admittedly didn't "love" it when we bought it, either!)

Oh, and rest assured: after I buy dress #2, I won't step foot into another bridal salon again, unless it's just to get alterations! THAT would be asking for trouble, right!

A MILLION THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO CHIMED IN! :)

Ok I think you look great in the second dress. It screams bride and you look soooo happy! I'm glad you are keeping the 1st one. I think it would be great shortened for an AHR or shower or something. I think the 1st one screams you!, but I don't think it screams you as a bride if that makes any sense HA!

Couldn't have said it better myself! Although I have seen your first dress on your before (wedding dress thread) and thought it was practically made for you, I like your second dress better, but that's because I like a more "wow" dress too and that dress is very "wow" on you! Seeing these pictures side by side, if I may, I think your short hair style you had in the first dress picture was one of the reasons I really liked that dress on you- it looks good with short hair. Sound silly?? I really think you should get the dress you are in love with, it's your one and only dress and you should get the dress that makes you feel like the most beautiful bride!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
