Siesta Key!

I am having a destination wedding in Siesta Key. But I don't know if it is cheaper to do an all inclusive wedding package for the ceremony that some companies have or find a wedding planner & do it all seperately. My budge is approx $6,000 for the ceremony + reception with approx 30-35 people. I know it is very do-able but I'd love to keep it way under $6,000 if possible.

Also, I was thinking of having a simple reception at the Beachhouse I believe in Sarasota/bradenton beach (one of those areas), but I didnt know if anyone else knows of another place. Appetizers/drinks is all we need :o) Nothing too fantsy.

And anyone know of a decent hotel in Siesta Key or close to the area. I've been doing lots of research but I feel like I've been in circles!

We are also trying to plan a honeymoon out of those too....oooh boy! rolleyes.gif

I am getting married at The BeachHouse in November! It is very reasonably priced and they don't nickle and dime you for extra costs (i.e. cake cutting, heat lamps, etc).

Contact them on their website and they'll send you pricing.

As for accomodations, we are suggesting Shorewalk Vacation Villas in Bradenton. They are 2 bedroom units (sleep 6) with full kitchen, laundry, livingroom.

Please let me know if you have any questions on The BeachHouse.

Hi...I'm getting married on Siesta Key beach next May. The reception is at the Ringling. I'm not sure of too many other places...however, I'm planning to go there in August to see other vendors. I'll be sure to keep you updated if I find anything, and let me know how it goes.

I do have a photographer and DJ booked too...but not sure if your having the traditional wedding. If you'd like I can give you there contact info!

Best Wishes,

Kristi

Hey just curious...who are you going through for the wedding--as far as decorating (if any) and taking care of the ceremony?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
