Oh - talk to Christine about that - her wedding is July 20, and hers is exactly that. She's got some really great ideas

Congrats and Good Luck picking the location! I was engaged last June and have still not picked a location. We were pretty much set on Cabo but keep feeling guilty about all of the people who won't be able to make it. In any case, this forum is the best, by far, for tips, advice and ideas. Cruise through some of the accomodation and sites indexes for location ideas.

welcome! picking the perfect location for you is one of the hardest parts of a destination wedding i think. there are so many options! definitely check out the Napa section - and talk with Christine.

i am getting married at Las Caletas (Puerto Vallarta) - here's their website: Puerto Vallarta Wedding Planner for Mexico Destination Weddings - it's different option in that it's not at a resort or anything, and is private - and that's what we were looking for!

Welcome to the forum! Like many have pointed out, it's really just a matter of narrowing down things like budget, vision of your big day, how big the group would be and taking their budget into consideration, etc... When I originally joined, we thought we would be getting married in Bahamas and after doing some research on here (it's hard to not spend your days just combing through all this wealth of information and advice), we decided on Los Cabos, MX. Once you get more deciding factors narrowed down, it'll seem more obvious what your wedding location should be.

Good luck and congratulations on your engagement!smile159.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
