I am guessing most of you ladies know this but if not, I found out the reason there is little on this resort I found out is because less then I think 1 or 2 years ago it was Sunscape Beach Resort which is a Dreams Resort line that they discontinued and was a 4 star instead of Dream's original ranking of 5 stars as a standard. So Dreams renivated this resort with all the new rooms, and made it the quality of a Dreams resort and because it was one of there lines it had the basic set-up of the Dreams. I have also heard wonderful things! I knew two people that were married here when it was Sunscape and loved the whole experience, and I have been told know that it is the Official Dreams resort that is will be even nicer, We are planning on booking our wedding next week (For Feb 2010 Wedding) at Dreams Palm Beach so Thanks to everyone on the info. Any pictures that can be attached would be AWESOME! Also, intresting fact (Dreams as a whole is owned by Apple Vacations : )

Happy planning Shens! The more I look at it the more I'm thinking Dreams PB will be the resort we choose. I was finally able to send out an email yesterday through my other account and Melani got back to me within a few HOURS! Not days or weeks like some other places I've been trying to get info on!

 

So now comes the delicate balance of feeding this info to my FI and making it seem like he is making the decision...

Hey Taratoons (and everyone else),

I am sooo excited to hear about your planning trip and see pictures. I am especially interested in hearing about the ceremony and how smoothly it goes since it is spoken in Spanish with English translation. Can't wait to hear about it! good luck!!

I feel very accomplished this week! We just ordered our save the dates and We just got done booking all of our travel arrangements including the honeymoon suite at Dreams Palm Beach for our wedding!!! Sorry....I am just so excited after having to deal with the non-response of the other hotel it is nice to have some things done FINALLY!!!!!

We're thinking either April/May of next year or maybe even November... We're pretty open to what options there area and we'll probably let price determine when.

 

Princess402: I would try contacting the wedding coordinator or the resort directly to find out what day they have their beach party. The wedding coordinator is really good at getting back you fairly quickly.

Ola everyone!

 

Hope everyone's planning is going well!

 

So we just returned last night from our planning trip to Dreams Palm Beach, with a day trip to Dreams Punta Cana. It was a wonderful week, and we have lots of information, so if anyone wants to ask anything in particular, feel free!

 

Princess, when we were there, the beach bon fire was Saturday night, but their schedule may change by next year, so I would just keep in contact with the coordinator when you're planning!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations.
