I am so excited I just booked the best photographer: http://michaelsteingard.com/#home/

He is best of both...he is super artistic and personal...It is really important to me to know who is showing up to take my pictures. If you check out his web page and blog you will see that the pics are not the posed predictable ones...they are more artsy and dramatic! So to get all that and it still be reasonable is super exciting! yay!!

Hi Ash...

I was wondering that too. What I found out from visiting and reading through all the details is that the Ultimate Wedding cost includes dinner and appetizers etc for up to 20 people...if you have more than that then it is an extra per person charge. I hope this helps! Check this out for more info:

I'm trying to figure out if Dreams is for us...I really feel like it is. I'm just wondering if anyone knows, if we get the Ultimate Wedding package would that include a private reception with dinner and dancing, and if there are extra charges involved? Awilda said that it wouldn't cost anything extra if we wanted to upgrade to a buffet but didn't give any further information. I would really appreciate any info!! Thanks in advance!

Did you do an evening or afternoon reception after the morning wedding?  We wanted to do an evening reception but don't know what to do in the afternoon if we have a morning wedding.  Also, what time are the morning ceremonies performed?  Thanks!

Hello!

The WC for my daughter's wedding mentioned that 80 is possible if both the interior and exterior of the pool are used...so the tables and food one area and the dance floor and the DJ the other??

Hi DPB Brides-To-Be!

I just spent the last 3 1/2 hours reading this entire thread from start to finish, so I really have no other choice but to post. My FH and I just booked our trip yesterday to visit DBP and two other resorts before we make our final decision, but I'm all but convinced this is the place for us. We're going down 7/7 -7/10, I think someone on here is getting married while we're there?? What ever happened to Elizabeth's post with everyone's dates?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
