Hey I love the idea of the Hangover Kit and have seen it on these forums alot, is it sure to pass through customs being that it will be a large quantity and also, where are you planning on finding the little packets??

There are tons of threads on here about peoples OOT bags I would recommend checking those out.

I am giving one bag per couple or one per single person. I have a long ways to go to my wedding so I don't have any OOT bag items yet but a rough idea of what im including is a welcome book, hangover kit, travel mugs, postcards and supplies like aloe/bandaids,etc.

I haven't heard any brides having problems with customs for hangover kits. The packets if you know someone who works at a doctors office or something you can get samples from them if not there are some websites brides on here have talked about:

I haven't bought any yet but I will check out these websites when the time comes.

In a forum on Getting your oot bag to your destination, someone had issues with their advil and alka seltzer  hangover kits and the reason was they needed a medical waiver. The only difference is she shipped her items and cuztoms would not release the box with those contents, so thats why I asked. Just curious

Thats interesting. I never really thought about it. I did see one bride said the had a list of all items they had in their OOT bags and amounts. The customs officer asked about the items in the bag and she showed the list and they let them go no problem. So probably definitely worth making a list.

hello ladies,

I am back=) i loved the resort everything is beautiful and Sharron is very nice and knowledgeable. I saw all the rooms and thought everything was beautiful. the resort is very well kept and clean, as soon as you walk into the resort you feel this calmness, peace, and ease. You ladies have nothing to worry about trust me i am very picky and absolutely loved the resort. The resort is not big its not small either i thought it was perfect, i also checked melia while i was there although the resort is nice as well it was just to big, u need a train to get to the beach ridicules!!! anyway i am very content with my choice i had a great experience and i think you all will love it=)

also regarding the poolside. its in the center of the resort. if u go to the main pool u will see a little bridge and that is where it is as per sharron if u want it to be there it has to be after 6-630.. so it wont work for me and i don't like that it is in the center of the resort. now the other rooms they cant change the color lol but she says with lighting u cant tell what color the room is. not sure about that lol=) over all the resort is wonderful=)

My date is now confirmed!!! Just now trying to decide if we should have a judge or get married at home at our city hall (not thrilled about this option). Based on past posts it seems like you have to get married earlier in the day if you have a judge. I emailed Sharron to find out.

Elizabeth, congrats on your engagement!!! Where are you thinking of getting married based on your visit? Beach, Gazebo???

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
