DB $99 dress sale -Tonawanda, NY

Recommended Posts

Hi ladies,

Just wondering if any of you have been to this location during the sale?

I am from Ontario and heading to NY to this location to check out the last day of the sale tomorrow. I am just looking for a cheaper dress for a TTD session. It is my first time out dress shopping at all so it should be interesting!

I am hoping that it's not super picked over and that there are smaller sizes left but, perhaps this is wishful thinking??!

Did any of you manage to snag an awesome deal at the sale this year?

I went to this sale when they had it around New Year's (they have it all the time BTW...I think I get an email about like every 6 weeks) and there were only like 10 dresses to choose from. I was really disappointed and didn't want my time to be wasted, so I dug through the regular racks and fell in love with a regular priced gown (ugh!). But I ended up buying it anyway (it was $450 down from $499 due to the sale). If I had more time I probably would have continued looking for a cheaper dress, but I fell in love with this one.

I don't know if it was the time I went or where I went or if it's always like that, but the selection was not impressive. I figured a lot of brides got engaged over the holidays and maybe it had been cleaned out. I'm curious to see if anyone has better news for you!

Good Luck!

Ange...I just went on the road trip this Saturday and as stated before there are only a few dresses that are $99. Depending on how much a regular dress costs you can save anywhere from $50-300.

I ended up buying a dress for $400 (incl. $50 dollar discount) as well as my MOH and BM both rec'd $20 off their dresses.

The sale goes on regularly...the current one ends today (may 25).

There selection isn't bad, I did a lot of research on there website so I knew what I was looking for. The sales lady brought over a brochure, I showed her which ones I was interested in and she went and found them all for me...saved me a lot of hassle searching thru the racks.

I bought my TTD dress from DB's 99$ sale, online ! I couldn't have been happier with it ! The dress was fitting super good, was light, and the fabric was treated (probably stain proof) and as a result was not retaining water ! 10 min after being out of the sea, I wasn completely dry ! That made DH jealous, he was soaked in his linen wink.gif

Enjoy !

Thanks ladies!!!

I ended up going today. I found nothing for $99 but tried a bunch on (I will post pics in another post). It was my first time going to even look so I tried on a bit of everything. The service was great. I didn't have an appt and they were more than happy to accommodate me.

And Julie, it was the DB on Niagara Falls Blvd!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
