RIU Negril or RIU Tropical Palace???

I was wondering if I could get some advice, opinions, preferences, experiences, etc. on which resort (Club Negril or Tropical Palace) to choose? I'm down to these two and am not sure which way to go? I've heard great things about both, but just want to know which is better overall (lol), my only stress about this DW is picking a resort. If I pick a resort that is not so great for my own vacation, well it's not the end of the world...but when other people are making the trip, I want to make sure it's good! My friends have told me to stop stressing over this, but I can't!
Looking for a beach wedding and (hopefully) a private reception beside the pool or beach for about 20ish people.
This website has been the most helpful so far....can't really use any other sites for good wedding info. I would really appreciate your thoughts, opinions, and photos!
Thanks so much!!!

I guess it's really up to you whether your guests will be bringing kids or not...either way they are both beautiful hotels.

I can definitely relate =) I had it down to those 2 resorts as well. It's true that RTB is spiffier because of the recent renovations. For us, it came down to the difference in cost and whether we thought that the extra $ for RTB was worth it. The difference was 250/person (i.e. 500/couple) - for us, it wasn't worth the extra cost. We expect that our guests will want to do some excursions off the resort so we figured that extra could be spent (or not!) on getting us off the resort to see other parts of Negril. Obviously, this is just what worked for us - there is no one right answer here. Hope this helps a bit though!

Also, the prices at Riu Negril are cheaper than those at RPTB. This can play a major factor in your budget.
There are plenty of reviews and pictures to help you make your decision.
We are getting married at RPTB on March 30, 2010. I picked the RPTB because it won't be full of people like the other resorts since they are bigger and people will most likely come from other Riu resorts to check it out. I also picked RPTB because the reviews are excellent!!

RPTB it is!!!!! It won't be cheap, but I think it's what I want, and I have my tight group of 10 going, so everyone after that is really a bonus.
Ladies, thanks so much for the comments, it really did help.
