My photographer did not include the disk of all the pictures in the cost of the shoot. She would have charged me $200 for all of the edited pictures, if I had wanted it. I opted not to spend the money since an album came with it. I may live to regret that decision, but it is made. I also purchased a few extra pictures, but no where near $200 worth. But, I think the price of $200 seems fair. That is also what I paid for a disc of all of my engagement pictures.

I think that price is in line, in fact some photographers charge much more. I'm actually surprised he offered you unedited photos at a different rate, but in all honesty, unless you know a great deal about editing, I would pay to have the edited version as they are usually airbrused and has other post processing done to them.

I would also like to say, that Boudior is probably the one area that I can say take me MUCH longer to edit. For example, during a wedding you can do a batch edit on photos, but with Boudior, I find that I want to look at every photo and make sure they are "just right" So for the $$ he quoted you, I think it's a very reasonable price.

I worked out a deal with my photographer that included a two hour session, upgraded book and a copy on the pictures on the CD for $500.00. I had looked around and checked out lots of sites and loved her worked, but she was more than I could afford. I sent her a note and we were able to come to a package that was more affordable for me.

i think $200 is a lot!

also did he tell you before the shoot you would have to pay that? and he should upload them ALL to an online gallery for you to view before you purchase them.

my photog gave me an edited disc with hundreds of pics in print quality but it was part of my package.

maybe it's just me but i feel like this guy put this ad out there for a "free" session but jacked up the price of the disc so really the session isn't free KWIM?

Exactly the same situation with me. I think $200 is reasonable since you got a free session.

He didn't offer me a disk with the images on it, just a book. He did upload them to a gallery online, but there is only 31 of the 450 (give or take) that he shot. There are some that he took that I would LOVE to see.

Hmmm I don't think that price seems too unreasonable.

My shoot ended up costing me about $500 but that was because I did add the cd of pics (unedited) to it. I think I was charged and extra $150 for that. I am glad I have them though (even if unedited), I think DH wants to get more printed here eventually.

also too, he got the book that I made for him in Mexico and then when we got home, practically the first thing he asked me about was where the cd of pics was...so then he ran in and looked at those! It was almost like two gifts in one!

I'm gonna give you another point of view. You can go to sears and get photos done. In my opinion these aren't what I consider professional, their ok not fantastic nothing like having a pro photographer catchin every angle, editing, etc. To get a disc of pics from Sears, just the disc, and you're only there for 30-45 minutes and get around 30 pics it costs $130.

You pretty much got a shoot, an album, editing, and 450 pics for $200! That is a steal!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
