you know what you could do...just for fun (since tomorrow is not your "real" wedding anyway) is go find the the most tacky cheap ring you can and wear that! rofl.gif that would be fun...can you imagine wearing like a cheap, awful, huge, gaudy thing?! Just a thought wink.gif it would be a good story later!

as far as outfits...maybe like a cute pants suit type outfit...business casual something or other? or a cute summer dress? that would be fun too!

Make sure you post some pics tomorrow! GOOD LUCK!

Hi Ladies! I'm so sorry I'm just getting back to thank you all for the warm wishes and awesome suggestions.

I ended up wearing a super cute summer dress. It was fun that it was just the two of us at the court house, no witnesses or anything. It actually made it very special. It didn't matter at all that I didn't have my E-ring.

FI/DH was super sweet. I went to run a couple of errands afterward. We had met at the courthouse so he drove home. When I walked into the house, the dinning room table had six vases (1 for each year we'd been together) full of star gazer lilies. They are my favorite flower and the flowers he gave me when we proposed. There were more than 65 stems (each with multiple flowers/buds). It was amazing. They still look gorgeous.

We ended up going out for sushi that night and then stopped by our favorite neighborhood wine bar for champagne. It was an awesome night.

Thanks again for all the support.

Oh yeah, my ring still isn't done so I may end up wearing a ring pop for our real wedding. It will be a story anyway.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
