"So You Think You Can Dance" Summer 2009

I hope she reauditions Erin. But if she doesn't, I don't blame her. I think they were very hard on her in Vegas. She did that Sonja peice so well that Sonja used her as the example but then obviously nerves go the best of her and she didn't do as well for the judges. They HAD to know her potential and they gave so many others a second chance. That had to sting.

As for what the judges say, I can't comment much on. The last few episodes I have mostly fast fowarded through them!

I agree that this season the personalities just aren't there. I had SO many favourites last season...Twitch, Joshua, Mark, Chelsea, Katie.....this season not so much.

I also get annoyed at how much Nigel and Mary talk about how great the show is. Seriously, they do it at least twice per episode!

It is still one of my favouritre shows, and favourite reality show for sure...I just hope next season will be better.

lol Kathy, that's too funny!

Anyhow, Ive just finished reading about 3 pages worth of stuff. All i have to say is, Evan, I can't believe he wasn't in the bottom. It makes you wonder if they just put Brandon there instead for the hell of it. They never actually say these are the bottom 2 guys with the lowest votes do they?!?

Katie Holmes - BLAH! Seriously?? Was she even there? I doubt it! She was ok, but I would have rather see something else to make the 100th episode special, like a PROPER re-cap of the previous season's dancers.

I wasn't surprised really that Jannette went home although I think I would have rathered see Kayla go home - she annoys me with her prim and proper look and attitude! I also would have rather see Evan go home. Yes, he's great at broadway, I mean really great. But man, that guy is struggling with everything else. They should have cut him before top 10 like they did to Philip.

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the 3 dances they brought back. Kathy, I SO MISS HOK TOO!!!!!

I'll be curious to see what happens this week. I'm not sure I even care anymore, and that's sad.

Just to add my 2cents, because I just finished watching last night - Katie was a bore, but most of the special guests they have on the results show lip sync, with the exception of BEP, so we shouldn't really be surprised, right? I would have liked to have seen Pasha dance - I heart Pasha.

Evan looked as shocked as Brandon that he wasn't in the bottom. He's getting the pity vote now - that's why this is why the award is "America's FAVORITE dancer" not America's BEST dancer". It's so frustrating.

I didn't love Jeanette - she' s good dancer, probably better than Kayla, but it pissed me off that Mia said she was her favorite, and then Nigel said the same thing - that's not right. How are the other's supposed to feel now?

They should just eliminate the stupid waltz/viennese waltz - all they do is talk about how boring and slow they are. Nobody wants to see them. Why bother.

Next week should be interesting.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
