I loved last night's ep! There were some really amazing routines - I especially loved Travis'. I wanted to watch it again right after!

I usually don't start watching until we reach the Top 10, so it's ON now! cheesy.gif

I'm so happy for NappyTabs emmy nomination! I think they are even better this year. And where the heck did that amazing routine from Travis come from?!?! Seriously, what is going on between Jason and Jeanine... thought they were going to make out on the stage! Great show last night. Can't wait for Kathy's recap :):):)

Here goes! Ok, so I'm not going to touch on people's solos from last night since I felt like most of them were "meh" and that voters don't generally vote based on solos, they're going to vote for people whose couple dances they loved, imo. Onward!

Girls group dance (bollywood): Ha! I looooove bollywood and I thought it was a totally cute dance, I was watching the show with my friend and when we saw the masks on the back of their heads she was shouting "omg that's freaky, I don't like it!!!" haha. They were creepy but I thought that it was kind of funny, it didn't bother me as much as it bothered her....it was odd though lol.

Guys group dance (African): Ooooh this was cool, I really enjoyed that dance! Lisa's right, as soon as they started up the dance, my friend and I couldn't help but laugh at lovable Evan as he stood out like a sore thumb in all his whiteness! haha and when he stuck out his pseudo-beer belly, he had me doing this: rofl.gif. But regardless of that, I thought the dance was great and really high energy. I think this is the first time they've done an African dance, so it was nice to have them throw another genre in the mix.

Kayla & Evan (Viennese waltz) - I was surprised at how well they did dispite their obvious height difference. During the little segment before the dance, I KNEW in the pit of my gut that they were going to have Kayla barefoot for it though lol. She's just too tall for Evan. Anyhoo, I thought Evan did a great job and I was surprised that he even was able to do a lift...so good for him! Kayla was lovely as usual so that's no surprise. Overall, it was really enjoyable! Despite all of this, I think they both may be in the bottom 3 tonight...just a hunch.

Jeanette & Ade (hip hop) - I enjoyed this a lot on an entertainment level! But as far as blowing-my-mind-with-something-new...it didn't. It was really good and I thought they were "funky" enough (as the judges put it) but it wasn't like an "OMG amazing" or anything. Really fun story and choreography. I'm not sure if they'll be safe tonight, there aren't many people left at this point so anything's possible really but I hope they will be because they're two of my favorites.

Jeanine & Jason (contemporary) - FINALLY! lol Finally these two get to do a routine in their own style! This was beautifully choreographed and even more beautifully performed. I loved everything about this dance and you could practically feel the passion in the dance and story coming out of the tv screen (or at least I could). They totally earned and deserved their standing ovation. I think and I HOPE that these two will be safe for sure tonight.

Randi & Kupono (paso doble) - Ok, so I was totally disapointed with this! Like Erin said yesterday, her gay bf should be rocking this character....and I didn't like Randi's wig, it didn't even look like it was her, not that it's her fault for the styling. Despite all of that, that dance looked rough and choppy! There were a few nice moments in there but they were overshadowed by the rest of the dance which was lacking passion and skill. I actually got bored watching it and started browsing on BDW lol. The music didn't seem to fit the style either. I don't know who is picking music this year for dances but it seems like in previous season that the music selections were MUCH better. These two are both definitely going to be in the bottom 3 tonight.

Melissa & Brandon (broadway) - I love these two and I enjoyed this routine for what it was but again, I didn't feel like it blew me away. Personally, I didn't care for that version of the song either (too slow). They both danced it well and how they were supposed to but it wasn't the most exciting dance in the world. I think these two are fan favorites so they will probably be ok tonight...and if not, they won't get kicked off because the judges LOVE them.

My guesses for tonight's elimination are....

Girls: Randi, Jeanette, Kayla

Guys: Kupono, Evan, Ade

Eliminated: Randi & Kupono

Can't wait for tonight to see how this all goes down! cheesy.gif

The friend I watch the show with says its because she gets the impression by Kayla's body language that it looks like Kayla thinks she's all that and a bag of chips lol.

totally agree with everything you said!

Kathy - good review! hmm you think Randi and Kupono though? Kupono does rub me the wrong way but I don't know if he will be eliminated quite yet

I hope Evan and Melissa or Janette go (ack don't throw tomatoes at me for saying that! rottentomato.gif I really just don't like either of those girls! IMO, Melissa is overrated, she is really getting on my nerves for some reason too!)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
