Asuka & Jonathan! Honestly, I'm not surprised and I was getting tired of Asuka's attitude and I was sick of Jonathan getting the "cute guy" vote and not having enough talent to back it up (IMO). Don't get me wrong, I thought Jonathan was great last week but it wasn't enough to save him this week. So next week Vitolio and Karla will dance together, wonder how they'll do together!!

I was wrong on my bottom 3. I though for sure Phillip & Jeanine would be couple #3, but instead it was Jason & Caitlyn.

 

I don't remember if I actually said it, but I called the losers! I told DH I need Fantasty SYTYCD. I'd have won the pot for the week. LOL

 

I knew poor little Jonathan didn't have a chance and Auska just wasn't getting anything other than ballroom. I'm sure her meltdown didn't help things. I think it was time for both of them to go.

 

Caitlyn really did have the best solo but all of the others were struggling and seemed out of steam. Maybe it was from that H-O-T opening number! Now that was some great dancing!

 

I FFed through the musical act, but at least they were singing!

I think the right ones went home too. I was over Asuka and her posing for the camera. I feel bad cause I don't knwo the girl- but she wasn't likeable to me! AND she also wasn't good at any other stuff other than latin ballroom.

 

Johnathan is a cutie and will have a career in musical theatre with his charm adn gmnastic tricks, but sorry he can't compete with these dancers- i'm surprised he even made it this far.

 

Am I the only one who thinks Vittolio is good?? Why is he always in bottom 3?? I feel like i'm not getting it.

 

I think Caitlin has really strong technique but here's the thing with these tv talent shows- you have to have charm and America needs to love you- and I'm not sure she has that. She looks so much like Leann Rimes no?

 

I think Phillip and Jeanine are next to go. I'm surprised he even got this far. He's not bad but the biggest thing he's got going is that he looks like Matthew Broderick as Ferris Bueller which I LOVE...

It's funny, I come here to comment and then I read Kathy's review and don't even need to say anything! I always think basically exactly what she said! So thanks, Kathy, for saving me having to type it all up! hahahahahaaa

 

I totally agree with the eliminations.

 

Oh and Caitlin is kinda growing on me. She has a funny attitude when they show clips of her. I guess I should learn to not judge a book by it's cover, cuz it's something about her looks that bugs me.

 

Oh and Kayla, I totally agree that she seems to think she's a model or something. I don't care for her either.

 

My favorite girls are Karla and Melissa (Jeanette is ok too) and my fave boys are Vitolio and Philip. Not so much cuz I think they are the best, but they are the ones I route for the most each week.

mary murphy is driving me INSANE! i've been dvr-ing the show and then ff through everything she says! i'm also not really invested in any of the dancers...probably won't be until the top 10 - then it's really exciting!

OMG, I so agree about Mary. I am over her, if I ever even liked her. I can't recall, but she's damn annoying. I dvr the episodes and ff thru everything but the routines, I don't care what the judges say, except Nigel, most of the time. Sometimes, I ff thru him too.

I agree about Mary, she is getting on my nerves. The "scream" that everyone waits for thinking its the biggest compliment they can get, OMG I hate it. I prefer her when she is moved by something and crying, lol, cause she stays calm.

 

Okay, so did anyone else notice this....Cat seemed to "know" something she shouldn't have known. The judges decision is supposed to be confidential till they announce. Well...when Cat was hugging Asuka and asked what she would remember most and she said Vitolio, Cat gave her a final hug before leaving the stage and said "I don't know what he'll do without you" like she KNEW Vitolio was staying, but the guys hadn't been announced yet. Strange Anyone else hear it?

 

I think the people that went home deserved to go home.

Ok, I am so glad Vitolio is safe but I have come to muting Mary's comments... you can tell what she is saying and don't need to hear her.

I heard that too and was like "Oops I guess he's not going home." Then I thought maybe I read into it and she just meant since Asuka is going home, she and Vitolio would be separated whether he went home or not. Asuka's answer surprised me though. Were her and V starting to crush on one another?

But I agree with everyone- it was time for Jonathon and Asuka to hit the road. They were not developing.

And what about those cute little boy performers? I love dancing kids!

YAY Asuka went home - Im actually really happy about that one!

 

I agree that Jonathan was the right choice but I did kinda like him. Will be interesting to see how Vitolo and Karla do - i really like her so I hope she stays a while!

 

Phillip is blah to me - ive never been that much of a huge fan but i really like Jeniene so i hope they stay a while longer
