do i need more gifts?

Recommended Posts

hi ladies,

i need your input! my FI and i have contributed some money towards the trip for everyone in our wedding party.

for my BM's and MOH i have decided to get them a custom made beach towel with their name inscribed, a personalized tote bag where i will put all the items for the OOT bag (along with some extras like makeup concealer, hair spray and gel) and i have also bought them a personalized friends frame. i plan to give them the frames when we return with a picture of us all together.

do you think i need to get my girls anything else or is this good enough? your thoughts? blush2.gif

I think what you are doing for them is plenty. You should only do what is in your budget to do. It is very generous of you to help offset their travel costs as well as getting them those personalized gifts! I wouldn't worry too much about it.

We are also doing something similar. Because we have such a small group coming to our wedding in the first place, we are paying for everyone's accommodations for the entire week and then specifically for our bridal party, we got the MOH and our respective sisters (we each have 1 and both will read a poem/reading during the ceremony) a pendant necklace and we will get the Best Man a gift (which we haven't picked out yet). Other than that, we are giving a cheesy t-shirt to the winners of the bouquet and garter toss.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
