Any opinions?
i would do bellagio, venetian, or wynn.

i think bellagio and venetian are in the best location and value wise i think bellagio is great because it is alot cheaper than both.

What? The Wynn not having a casino? That'd be crazy! they did when i was there, but that was a year ago. And yup, it's further down the strip. It's very close to TI, which is at the very end of the strip.

i was there in sept. and they had a casino and i have not heard anything yet...in fact, their casino is tauted as a 5 diamond casino and the only one to rank that high in las vegas (for comfort, amenities etc.)

i just know this because i am a wynn "master agent"...bwahahhahah

This Vegas forum is fun! wink.gif

I've been to Vegas several times. I've stayed at NY NY, Monte Carlo, Bellagio, Stratosphere and the Wynn. But have been in just about every casino on the strip.

NY NY has a fun casino (I won $5,000 on my first pull on the first slot machine I saw on my first trip to Vegas!) and a great piano bar. The Chinese restaurant is also great. Love how open the casino is (similar to Paris). The rooms were nothing special.

Monte Carlo is very basic but nice. No frills.

Bellagio is awesome. We had a suite and it was unbelievable. The pool is nice.

Stratosphere was suprisingly really cool. We went for my my fi's sister's bachelorette party and her husbands bachelor party and that's were everyone was staying. We were nervous at first because we'd heard some terrible reviews. They place has been remodeled and we loved it...especially loved the rates! We had a suite and it was so unique...there was a hottub in the middle of the room!

The Wynn is incredible. However, the decor is a little off for my taste. A lot of mustard browns and rust colored walls, etc. But the beds are the best!!

I think I actually liked the room we stayed in at the Stratosphere better then the one at the Wynn and it was about $300 cheaper!

Ah...Vegas!! I love Vegas! Usually go at least once a year...

Venetian: Loved it! It's all suites and I just love the atmosphere! Plus I really want to go to Italy so I am bias. Friends aunt paid so I haven't stayed there again because I can't afford it.

Bellagio: Absolutely my favorite of the upper class hotels! I have stayed here twice. Once work paid for it for a conference and we just stayed there this april for my sister's 30th B-day!

MGM: It's okay...nothing great! The pool is awesome though! It's in a good location on the strip. I want to stay at their new towers...

New York: This is another favorite!!! It's reasonably priced and the rooms are nice. Central location. Fun environment. OMG...the Americana Cafe has the best Macaroni and Cheese!!! Add some Jalepenos too it and it's YUMMY!! Especially at 2 or 3 in the morning!

Imperial Palace: DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Although it was dirt cheap...it's not worth it. It's definately an older hotel! The smoke is really bad. The elevators are so slow we had to take the stairs and the water backed up in the bathtub...GROSS!! However...the dealertainers are pretty cool!!! So don't stay here...but stop by and gamble a little!!!

Stardust: Not the best place. It's on the old strip which is a LONG walk to the new strip and it's also older and smokey...The rooms weren't bad...but again, it's worth spending a little more to stay at a nicer place and closer to the new strip....

Ceasers: I loved Ceasers too!! The rooms were great and the hotel is like a maze...you can get lost...but same with any of them really! wink.gif

I try to stay at a new hotel each time I go. My goal is to eventually stay at them all! :) They are so fun!

I have to say too...in all of my travels there, I have found that southwest vacations has by far the best deals!!! You pretty much pay for the hotel and get your airfare for like $40 a person!!! I wouldn't go any other way. Only bad thing is you can't to the 24 hr online boarding because it's not ticketless...

Sorry so long!!!

LOVE VEGAS!!!! :)

I too have been to Vegas quite a bit. (My sister produces reality TV shows and I would visit her while she worked on some of the shows she did there.)

Tammy - that stinky/mullett wearing hotel sounds like Harrah's to me. Could I be right? They seem very "Nascar" there. No offense anyone.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
