They don't have live music, but the environment is so great that i don't think you'd miss it. There's an outdoor eating area that they can set up just for you which would be nice given the size you're quoting. The chefs son's name is Angel Salinas (his email is salinas_ilricco@yahoo.com.mx). VERY nice guy.

Here's our menu (the Vermicelli soup was amazing):

Adult Menu

Price per person $ 40.00 USD (Tax & Service not included)

Ensalada Verde. - Organically grown greens with seasonal citric Supremes.
Or
Fideo Seco.- Traditional dry Vermicelli soup with Tolucan chorizo & aged cheese.

Pescado en Tikin Xic. - Yucatan style Catch of the Day, wrapped in banana leaves.
Or
Filete Nicolasa. – Dry chile crusted beef tenderloin with hibiscus flower sauce & tequila caramel apples.
Or
Crepas de Pollo en Mole de Pistache – Soft Chicken crepes with pistachio mole.
* * *
Tarta de Chocolate. – Stone ground chocolate tartlet with almond crust.
Or
Mousse de Limón. – Frozen lime mousse in warm broth of citrics & thyme.
Kids Menu
Price per person $ 18.00 USD (Tax & Service not included)

Fideo Seco Corazón – Dry vermicelli with butter, ground pepper & fresh cheese.

Also - if you want to be right on the beach - go to the Sheraton D Cortez restaurant. Beautiful - great food - and they typically have a trio playing on Fridays and Saturdays.

When you call to reserve - say you want to be on the patio outside but I wouldn't tell them it's your wedding - they'll just charge you more money! Confirm that they will have live entertainment. You'll love it there - really, promise!

ok. so Maye will let me know if Jugde and private beach area is available but I have to wait till Monday to find out.

She said she will send me all the information then.

Can you girls tell me what information I will need? What paper work will she give me? Blood work info? We will need passports, i know this, but what else?

Just so I can be prepared.

You will need copies of your passports, birth cerfiticates, and divorce decrees if either of you have been married before (for some reason I don't think you have, but just can't remember tonight). I just made copies and brought them with me so I didn't have to lose sight of my original documents.

Yep, I'll see what I can work out - I have to re-arrange it anyways, so I'll have that posted hopefully before the weekend is over. No matter what, you'll get a starfish! wink.gif

Cool
You still need copies of the birth cert, you just don't need divorce decree stuff...sorry if my post was confusing....I'm drinking wine tonight which is bad since I'm on call- I'm pretty sure I'm not going to get called in tho...lol

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
