1 week, ladies - 1 WEEK!!!!

AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

LOL

Ok, so tell me if this is normal - I am getting so super emotional over literally the smallest things. Like my Grandma came over today to help us do laundry and pack (SO sweet!!) and she found my headband and I nearly started crying! LOL (wtf? haha) I keep tearing up over the smallest things! I think I'm gonna have to really push it and watch Father of the Bride one last time before we leave - HAHAHA (Love that movie!)

So, OMG - we leave on Tuesday!!!!

Exactly 7 days from now Martin and I will have just met for our "First Glance"! how exciting!!!

So, everything is just about finished!!! Tomorrow I have an eyebrow wax and need to pick up a good beach book (though I do have this one full of Mexican tales that I'm looking forward to) from Half Price books. I love going there because they have the "pay by the minute massages" and they're SO good! We'll probably try to sneak in a couple of massages while we're there wink.gif

I'm literally sitting on the only "slice" of our bed that is not covered with wedding/packing stuff - haha!

I am just SO damn emotional! did y'all feel this way 1 week before, 2 days before you left??

Everything is coming together smoothly.. Yes, my BMs are freaking OUT about the small things (like where to get their nail polish, etc.) but other than that it's all great!

I'm now sipping on a very strong margarita wink.gif trying to picture waves out in front of me... ooooh, ahhhhh... wink.gif

We meet up with Nicole (our WC from Las Caletas) on Wednesday at the Lighthouse in The Marina for drinks and to go over last min. things - so pumped for that! YEAH!

OK! Just had to get out a bit of my exuberance to some ppl who might actually understand wink.gif

FYI I've been trying to work on a planning thread but I just don't have pics of everything! Guess I'll try and just post what I have - or do like someone else did and post it when we return? Dunno, we'll see what I have time for wink.gif

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so excited for you Jamie!!!!! WOOHOO!!! woot2.gif

Being emotional is 100% normal!!! I was pretty much a mess...only I was crabby...I would flip at the slightest little thing!! I don't know how my mother (who came a week before we left) and my DH didn't kill me!!!

Just take deep breathes!!!

Oh...and did you get the watch jewellery box yet?? I can't wait to hear how he likes it - if he's anything like DH with watches he's going to LOVE it!!!

If I'm not online before Tuesday (doubtful!), have an AMAZING trip!!! And make sure you fill us all in when you get back!!!!

Bon Voyage!!!!!

oh jaime i'm totally with you on this!!! have you listened to your walking down the aisle song lately? i didn't cry when i did, but rather i got all itchy and nervous-feeling, lol! like totally anxiety-ridden! then i listened to my father/daughter dance song and bawled my eyes out ... i've been trying to desensitize myself LOL but it is NOT working! i'm going to be a mess.

in the meantime, like amanda was, i've been snapping at everyone. and eating everything in sight. and not sleeping. i am a WRECK! LMAO ... i have several massages scheduled at the resort and i can't wait to go get them, as well as some strong drinks (like that margarita you're enjoying, lol).

you're almost there, sweetie! time to become a MRS!!!! wink.gif

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
