UPS Package stolen from front door....and it was my BD Album & pics!! *update #33

Recommended Posts

I am so so sorry for what has happenedsad.gif I am glad though to hear that you are doing a bit better and you photograher is understanding. I can't imagine thinking that it is possible that someone actually stole something from my front door, especially BD pics. What a crappy thing to happen and what a crappy person to steal! I am still hoping though that it just got misplaced by UPS and you get the original package.

Yolanda I can't believe yesterday was your birthday of all days. Happy belated birthday!!

When I got your email yesterday I seriously freaked out- like they were my pics! I am outraged. I know that you have taken all the necessary steps to get a new book and I am hoping that it's in production as we speak.

The whole thing is bizarre. Does it say who signed for your package when you called UPS? This (not bd book tho) happened to a friend of mine and it said that the guy from upstairs had signed for the box. Weird I know but worth a shot asking. Also if you see your UPS guy (it seems like you know who he is) I would ask if he remembers who signed (what they looked like). The whole thigns SUCKS and I am so so sorry that you are dealing with this.

Keep me posted.

xx

Did they require a signature? From what I've read it doesn't sound like it. I'm SO sorry about this. I would be FREAKING OUT, and not in a nice way pretty damn bitchy to be honest!

I actually like that UPS doesn't require the signature. I'm a stay at home mom and I'm always running errands and they always come when I'm gone. Although we have 3 dogs one is a chesapeake lab and he's pretty mean and I was downstairs and heard him barking upstairs but by the time I got up there he was driving away and left a note saying it was at my backdoor. Sure enough the guy went around my house through my 6' wood gate (you can't see into our yard) and left it on my back porch! What if my dog had been out there! That guy would have been bitten!

I lost a UPS package a while back (well they said they delivered it) the really delivered it to the same numbered house 1 street over. Thankfully they returned it to UPS and I received it like a week and a half later. I really hope this works out for you!

I'm sooooo sorry this happened to you! What a nightmare! I've been so envious of all the women brave enough to do a BD shoot as a gift for your FIs and DHs. I'm horribly bashful in lingerie and don't think I could muster up the courage to even do the shoot. It's great that your photographer is being so understanding and helpful, but I know that certainly isn't your only concern. I hope the missing package appears at your door or your photographer's studio and you'll be able to rest easy. I'll cross my fingers for you!!!

oh my gosh no luck yet in finding your parcel.I think it will turn up its got to be a very opportunist perv that would be so lucky to stumble on your photos.I think i would be very proactive and knock every door in the apartment block explaining that it is a gift that is of special value to your h2b and also a surprize. They may be holding it for you im sure there is a simple explanation. As far as ups is concerned the guy left it at his disgression which then means hes held responsible dosent it?Im hoping it turns up quickly and be sure to catch the muppet of an ups driver asap cos hell forget what he did if you leave it for to long best of luck xx mariaxx

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
