Post Groom and GM attire

We bought my FI suit last summer and b4 I had mt dress!!The suit was originally $500.00 and we got on sale at Macy's for about $120.00! Not sure if he is going to wear the jacket or not. Feel free to let me know which look you like better. We are not sure on shoes yet either. Pehaps leather slides or closed toed loafers. Here is my FI modeling the Best Man's attire. I searched high and low to find a shirt. I looked on island importers and all the other tropical wedding sites.Looked at Tommy Bahama and could not fine a shirt with Aqua or teal in it(Teal is actually my color but this is close enough, everybody will be looking at my anyways right). We ended up going to the mall on my lunchbreak to kill time and we found this shirt at J C Penny's for 25.00!!!!

We just bought FI suit yesterday at Kohls - it's a beige Chap's suit and we got all of this for 145.00:

 

Jacket

Pants

Tie

White shirt

AND

sandals!!

 

I could not believe how lucky we were!! The chaps suits were on sale - he saved almost 100 on both yesterday! Amazing.

 

Has anyone considered how they are bringing down the Grooms suit and GM outfits? We are not sure what to do - I am carrying my dress in a garment bag, but I didn't think about his suit!! I'd love suggestions!

Great deal sungoddess! I was just thinking of putting FIs suit in my dress garment bag with the dress... You think that would work?

I am going to put my FI clothes in with my dres and carry it on the plane.

That's what I suggested to him also - but he wants to carry the GM outfits as well (in case they forget, or their luggage gets lost or something) so he's worried and thinking of getting one of those fold up garment bags that you can carry over your shoulder.

I was originally going to get the suits made by a family friend who is a steamstress but she phoned me at the weekend to say she cant do them, shes due to have an operation at the end of the month. I'm not too annoyed as shes been ill for a while. I am getting a linen mix (wont crease as much as 100% linen) trouser from Marks & Spencer (around £20 per pair) White shirt from Next (£25) and ivory waistcoats from mytuxedo.co.uk at around £22 each. hopefully a sample is coming tonight in the post!

I really like the pic of him with just the shirt and kaki pants, however I feel that a little color is needed, maybe if he wore a bright boutiner or if he wants to wear the suit jacket, maybe a bright colored tye, just my opinion. Good deals you found!

That would work depending on how many GM you have. You can get one of those bags at TJ Maxx for $20.00 We bought one there just in case

Good Advice! He does look a lot better in the colorful shirt doesn't he? Too bad he can't wear that one!
