Hi Sky,

This article might help making your decision. I took it off of David Tutera's FB page.

Ladies whose guys did linen shirts, did they wrinkle like crazy? Also, I relly prefer the look of long sleeve shirts for pictures but am getting grief from the fathers- thoughts? Those who did long sleeves, were they ok just rolling them up after pictures?

I don't think I did it right the first time so here it goes again! Sam wore linen khaki pants from Express, a button up shirt from Calvin Klein and boat shoes from Macy's. It was a simple outfit but to me he was the most handsome groom in the world. Plus, it kept him cool in the Carribean heat!

My fiance sent a picture of a speedo and a bow tie and told me that he was wearing it for our beach wedding in Jamaica next year.  I would post the picture that he sent to me, but it may be a little too risque!   It gave me a good laugh, but I hope he's not serious.  I will make sure that we go shopping for his attre TOGETHER!!!!

Bahahaha!

I literally laughed out loud. That sounds EXACTLY like something my FI would do too. So funny!

My now husband and groomsmen wore a Kenneth Cole, light gray summer suit from Macy's. I know they were a bit warm, but even my fiance admitted that they looked so sharp and well dressed that it was worth being a little warm! While linen might be a common option for DWs, we stayed away from linen just because it gets so wrinkly and stretched out. We were torn about whether they were going to wear their jackets for the ceremony and formal pics, but I think with the formality of my dress and the BMs dresses, warranted them wearing their jackets. Plus, the starfish lapel pin I made didnt stand out on the white shirts.

Love their looks, Avens!! I would like my groom to wear something similar. Good to know you got the pants at Le Chateau! We haven't started looking yet for our December wedding, but I want to go soon before all of the summer clothes are off the racks!

PS: Your dress is very pretty!

Groomsmen shirts and pants are from Le Chateau

Groom has the same pants, his shirt is Hugo Boss (it was white, and my dress was Ivory and it worked).

We just told them to wear brown sandals.

Hubby and I went shopping to find some pants together, then had the best man come in and try them on - and discovered the shirts.

Hubby went on his own and found his shirt and shoes (I didn't even have to harass him, I was so proud). :)

My husband bought his suit and his GMs suits at Macys during one of their big sales and he had a coupon so I think each suit came out to be around $200, originally they were $600 a piece. He bought their suits as a thank you for spending the money to come down to our wedding and also used them as his present to them.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
